Great set for my beater bike.
Was building a beater bike out of lower end components and wanted a good looking cheap wheelset that can handle NYC streets and these performed perfectly, and were found at the perfect price. I would say how many miles I had on them but my city beater doesn't have a odometer, but I can say they've lasted 4 years doing 12 mile round trip commutes, 2-3 days a week (with some days off here and there) with no problems. Can even count winter commutes, and plenty of 50+ mile weekend rides to the beach or upstate. They ran smooth and true, never once had to true them. And to be honest, I'm not the smoothest rider either, as I hop curbs, slam potholes when I don't see them on nighttime rides. My bike is honestly noticeably slower than my other higher end carbon road bike, but that could be from a variety of components summed together. For regular riding and not racing, as some refer to as "training" or "commuting" these are great. They did have one "problem" though, as you may notice i was speaking in past tense. my rear wheel got stolen last month. I guess they look good enough to steal. whatever, this is why i bought a cheap set, and at this price I ordered the same set again, and now I have a spare front wheel as the original front is still doing just fine.. The original set I didn't order on amazon, but since they were and now that I have prime, i decided to go with the same set, and finally leave a review.

Great cheap wheelset!
Great solid wheelset. Used this for my 7 speed Hyperglide cassette. It required a spacer but has worked great. Also these are Deep V rimmed wheels, and will require the longer presta valves. I used 60mm types and they worked great. Wheels required no truing out of the box.Several comments were left stating they are very heavy wheels. My take on this, is I could lose a lot of weight myself and zero cost. The wheels have performed well so far, I've had them only a week but have 200+ miles on them already with no issues. If you have questions regarding them please review the questions asked at the bottom of the details, as they answered mine. They come with rim tape installed. The hub works with Shimano 8/9/10 speeds. With a spacer you can make them work on 7 speeds such as myself. Spokes are aero styled. Hub's are Vuelta and also comes with Vuelta quick release levers as well. Packaging was great. Couldn't be happier with what you get for the price.

Good Wheels for the Price (Edited)
They seem to be good quality wheels for a very attractive price, with some exceptions:- The spokes are painted steel, not stainless steel as advertised. Since I don't ride on salted roads this is not a big deal. However, I expect that rust will develop where they attach to the hub and screw into the nipples. I put some heavy marine grease at these points to forestall that.- The rear hub requires a 1mm spacer to mount a standard 10 cog Shimano cassette.Nicely machined braking surfaces and a good paint job. You will need to supply skewers.2 weeks later:The front wheel developed a "surging" when braking with a clicking noise. After thoroughly degreasing the braking surface to no avail, I observed a problem with the joint in the wheel. When the brake was applied with the pads positioned just before the joint the rim flexed inward causing the joint to have raised surface which would catch the pad. Returning for replacement - more to follow.Several months later:Got replacements promptly and have had no problems with them after about 3k miles. I find that they are much more stable in hard cornering, guessing because they flex less than my old 32 spoke conventional wheels. I have swapped in/out my old front wheel to confirm this. Raising my rating to 4 stars.About a year later:The spokes did indeed rust on the blades. Replacing with Wheelsmith 286mm x 2mm Black SST spokes and aluminum nipples, ordered from Amazon, of course, totaling $85, plus some elbow grease to replace them all. So, the very attractive price of $130 is now not so attractive at $215. I otherwise remain impressed with wheels though.

Great set of training wheels for the money!
These are a great set of training wheels. I needed a new set of training wheels since I essentially wore out my old Shimanos that started to crack and became a safety issue. They came nicely packaged and in great shape. These wheels were true out of the box and are still rolling true after about 600 miles of use. They roll smooth and are fairly strong given their spoke quantity and pattern. I say these are road race training wheels because they are fairly heavy, but that is what training is all about. I know when I put my lighter carbon racing Zipp wheels on I am going to fly. For the money, this was a great buy.

The Worst Product for The Money, all the spokes became rusty and the wheels now look old
These wheels are of such poor quality. I have never seen spokes that rust in 2-3 months considering my bike is always kept in side and I live in souther California. I have several bikes, and I have had them for years, none of the spokes are rusted on any of my bikes except on my Bianchi with this stupid wheels.I still can't comprehend why all the spokes will become rusty so quickly if ever. My beautiful bike looks so old and nasty because of the spokes on the wheels.Spend more money find another brand, buy from another company.Awful product!

Wonderful Wheels, Stunning Price, BUY THESE WHEELS!
Amazing, almost too-good-to-be-true deal. The wheels arrived with less than 0.3mm deviation in lateral trueness and less than 0.1mm in radial trueness. The only adjustment they required was a sight loosening of the end nuts to decrease the preload on the bearings. These wheels turn with very low frictional losses, have been very pleasant on the couple of rides I've done and look nice, as well.If you are a serious weight weenie, or are find yourself doing truly long climbs; you may want to look at higher end wheels, since these were only marginally lighter than the 36H low profile wheels they replaced. However, for training, touring, or flatland friendly racing they are most excellent.

Great set of wheels
My first set of real wheels I buy. I don't race or anything so I couldn't really tell what a heavy or a light wheel would be. I just rebuilt my entire bike and previously had hybrid wheels on it. These ones feel lighter then my previous wheels plus thinner. I paired it up with Michelin Pro 4 tyres since that's all that was available to me in my city plus got a very good price. They spin straight out the box on my bike as well.
