Awesome inexpensive boyfriend!
Not really firm, but for the price it's a good pillow for hugging my Fili/Thorin dakimakura (once they arrive) and have my own hobbit adventures with my favorite dwarves. The pillow came in squished into a box that was half its length, so it wasn't fluffy and was taped all around (poor pillow suffered through bondage during the whole transit). I aired it out and poof it became firmer, fluffier, and more even-out pillow. I can't complain how it flattens so easily with a squeeze, considering how inexpensive this body pillow is. It does seem to still airing and fluffing out, so maybe after an hour or so it'll be the firmness I like. As I stated before, the price is awesome for what I got. Dakimakuras are costly so it is nice to find, then buy, an inexpensive pillow to use them. This item arrived fast! PRIME FTW! I ordered on Monday/Tuesday and I really thought it would get here around Friday/Saturday, due to Labor Day, but it arrived today at around the afternoon. I had no issues or incidents with the package. I would definitely be buying more of these pillows in the future just in case I get to order any more dakimakuras. Less expensive and less traumatic than an actual human guy.

A good, comfy body pillow... but make sure you buy direct from Amazon!
It came to my attention after buying that some customers received really cheap, lumpy pillows... but fortunately that was a problem relating to a third-party seller offering pillows claiming to be this brand but sending out cheap bootleg pillows instead. Apparently ordering direct from Amazon avoids this potential risk, and as that's exactly what I did, I'm happy to say that this is a review of the genuine article. It's not a pillow with any kind of fancy memory foam or hotel-quality stuff inside but it is a nice, thick, fluffy, but reasonably firm body pillow that is exactly the correct length and thickness to snuggle up to when sleeping. I purchased this mainly to discourage myself from tossing and turning at night (I have a bad tendency to give myself neck-aches in my sleep) and am glad to find that it made getting to sleep at night a much more comfortable experience. It's also not a bad price for the quality if you're looking to experiment and find out if perhaps a body-sized pillow is right for you. I purchased a separate pillowcase for it from another brand, in a burgundy color to match my sheets and blankets and am happy to report that this pillow fits into it without difficulty, so I assume any standard-size body pillow case will fit it just as well.

The most basic of body pillows for side sleepers and a cheap fill for Dakimakura
This body pillow does what it needs to do at the most basic of levels. It's the correct length for most folks who need a body pillow either for basic physical therapy (typically for recovery after an injury/surgery where your legs can't be on top of one another) or simply as a sleeping aid for side sleepers. That being said the filling of the pillow is so sparse; I couldn't imagine what the company was thinking when they designed it other that cost savings. Firmness (if you can even call it that) is near non-existent and very loose. This can be seen optimistically as a summer pillow where you want a lot of space for the fill to breathe (and dry out from sweat/moisture). Realistically speaking however - it would be wise for you to add extra fill yourself. Luckily you can buy loose feathers/foam in bulk rather cheaply if you know where to get them, but that seems like an unnecessary step and expense for a pillow that should be good to go. On the other hand, this pillow is quite cheap (I got mine $15 shipped on Amazon) so it's an inexpensive option if you just need the bare basics. For Dakimakura users - this pillow will fit inside the standard 50x150cm cover quite easily. Just keep in mind however due to the nature of the sparse fill you will probably need to double stuff the Dakimakura cover. (In other words, buy 2 pillows and double stuff them into the cover.) If you're actually using the Dakimakura as a sleeping pillow, than this product works just fine. If you're using the Dakimakura as a decorative pillow (meaning you let it stand in a corner or likewise); I would go with a much firmer fill pillow that uses foam or beads.

Full, soft and light, but no cover
I bought this body pillow to replace a memory foam one I had, which had become very heavy and the padding was breaking down in weird ways, making it lumpy. I don't think I will have any of the same problems with this one. It is very light and full, yet soft and squishy at the same time. This was just what I was looking for, since I don't want one that is too heavy for when I toss and turn at night, it easily moves with me as I change sides. It's just squishy enough for me to wrap my legs around it comfortably, but not so flat that there is no point in having it. I'm about 5'7 and it's the perfect length for me, I always sleep on my side with my knees sort of curled/bent up, yet it's still long enough for me to wrap my arms around it too.The only downside to this pillow is that it doesn't come with any sort of case or covering. Fortunately, it seems body pillows come in standard sizes and my old case worked perfectly on this one, so problem solved. I thought this was a pretty good price, but if I didn't already have a case, the cost would have exceeded what I would have liked to spend on it.

Super comfy pillow - Dimension NOT as advertised though
Super comfy pillow - Dimension NOT as advertised though. They list this pillow as being 20" x 54" but when measured it ended up only being 18" x 51". I had a pillow case that is 20" x 54" and now I am missing a few inches of pillow to fit it nicely. But despite this, and despite the negative reviews I saw on here about it, I received a new (without mold) pillow, nicely packed in a plastic bag and shipped in a big enough box, so that the pillow didn't get too squeezed and distorted while in shipping. It looks big and awesome, does not have any bad odor, and feels quite big and soft at the touch. If it wasn't for the wrong dimension, this pillow will have gotten 5+ stars.GOOD:-Soft at the touch-Big pillow-Smells nice right out of the box-100% breathable-House allergen protectionBAD:-Not 20" x 54" as advertised but approx. 18" x 51" instead.

Perfect!
I was coughing from my pillows and the coughing has stopped since getting this pillow. They are so soft and very comfortable. Would buy more but then I won't have any room in my bed for myself.....or anyone else.
