The All New Captain Underpants Extra-Crunchy Book o' Fun 2 Paperback – September 1, 2002

This was a homerun with all four boys I purchased them for...my son initially chose Dav Pilkey's first Dogman book, and since then I've been giving out Dogman and Captain Underpants books to even the most finicky of readers I know as presents to help engage kids who aren't fond of reading much. They're fun for both parent and child-have your child read the Dogman series aloud to you, you'll be laughing right there with them. Keep em coming Dav, our kids love your books!

Bought this book (many more in the series) to get my then elementary school kids into reading on a more regular basis! It worked like a charm. My son was reading at a 12 grade level in 4th grade.... and started gravitating to toward non-fiction books. I still have this book and it is in great shape from when I first received it from Amazon.

Even though the kids have done all of the activities in the book, they keep going through it. They love reading it and looking at the jokes and gags. And practicing with drawing their own characters. This is a great rainy day or long car ride activity book for little boys in 1st to 4th grade.

My son has all the Captain Underpants books and my husband and I read to him before bed. He actually laughs out loud at some of the things these boys get into. They are more like a comic book with captions here and there...kids loves these books. I myself think they are just silly but I'm old what do I know. lol

If you have a Captain Underpants Fan in your family this is a great addition - its NOT a regular CA book, instead it's an interactive ACTIVITY BOOK.MOST IMPORTANTLY you'll learn how to draw all your favorite characters - including George, Harold, Mr. Krupp, Captain Underpants, and more.And there's a ton of CA related games to play.It will keep your CA fan busy for hours.

Cute book in series. My grandsons love the series.

My kids love it - but then again they love all the captain's books! If you have kids I would recommend it

A surprise for the child and did not have to wait for the next one to read them all.
