Good quality for the price
-I am 5’10” with very long legs. Thus robe hits me at the top of my ankles. This is a good length so I don’t trip on it.-The Terry cloth is quite lightweight. I get very hot so that is good for me but in cold MN I would like a robe to be a little heavier-Upon arrival I washed it in cold water and hung to dry. It dried nicely without stiffness-I have long arms and feel the sleeves are just right. They are not big arms which I like. I cook with my robe on sometimes and the long floppy sleeves of other robes is a fire hazard.-The color is true. I bought the dusty pink. Amazon recommended a large but I ordered XL and I’m glad I did.-This is a quality robe for the price

Came in good shape
No shredded anything. It implies that in other reviews. It’s light weight, which I wanted. Long. Oversized hood. Now to be fair I haven’t washed it yet but I don’t anticipate a problem and it can certainly shrink a bit. I’m happy with the robe.

Honest & thorough review
Let me start out by saying, I'm 5'3" & 170 Lbs. with an oddly shaped torso - very short waisted. I bought the X-Large size to accommodate my shape and light grey for helping to hide cat hair. That being said, here's my assessment. The packaging was excellent, the robe folded professionally. I was very excited to get a robe that hit the floor, not stop at mid thigh; my expectations were met, and then some. Right out of the package, the robe was too long while wearing regular slippers - I had to kick it out of the way to walk and not trip. However, while sitting down and in curling up with knees tucked, the circumference covered me up. There are no inner ties, but that can be easily remedied even by a non-sewer. The hood is great, another feature I wanted. The sleeves are a bit on the short side for anyone with longer arms. With two belt loop choices, longer torsos than mine don't have to worry about where the tying hits for comfort.I took a few moments to decide whether to keep the robe and live with what I got. Decision made, I got to work. The fabric is like that of a pool-side towel at a hotel - not very thick, but will dry a body off if put on right out of the shower. It is about as soft/not soft as said towel. I don't use fabric softener, so can't comment on whether that would help. If someone has OCD like I do, they will go over the entire garment trimming loose threads. The hems of the sleeves, the bottom, the belt, and the hood are rough stitched - no fold over. The pockets and main seams are all double stitching and appear well done. I have a microfiber, fleece plush robe that is too hot and has an over-thick shawl collar that drives me nuts, so the lack of thicker material was not as much of a concern for me as it might be for others. With PJs on, I feel it will be warm enough; for outside, fall has not quite hit so I can't speak to outside warmth either. I also run hot, so in this area I might be unfavorably biased.Ignoring general washing instructions and removing all tags for comfort - I'm all in at this point- I washed the robe in warm water and dried it for an hour on medium heat, following up with 20 minutes on high heat. At that point, I tried it on again. The overall length shrunk about 1+ inches, the sleeves about 1/2+ inch and the hood also shrunk some. For me, this worked - I was not tripping on the bottom - as the robe was just grazing the floor. The sleeves still hit my wrists while arms hanging down, rising on slightly when extending arms out in front/to the side. The hood still came to the front of my head. While sitting down/curling up, each side of the robe overlap still covered both knees. As to whether it will hold up in use and through future washings, time will tell.Bottom line, I gave this garment 4 stars because it works for me with features that I wanted. I hope my description helps give a better idea to other buyers as to whether the robe will work for them. Unless a piece of clothing is pristine, ready to wear right out of the bag, and holds original sizing after washing, I will not give it 5 stars.Happy lounging!

A towel texture robe - IS NOT LONG
I chose this robe because I wanted to to drag the floor a little. I’m 5’5, 125lbs and a size small comes to my mid calf, like a regular robe. However, its very absorbent and has been great for getting out of the shower or hot tub. It has a nice wide hoodie, without any bulk

Very Long
Wine color so smoothies or cooking wine doesn’t stain! Very absorbent after showeringIt is very long, but read reviews & knew this. Wanted one that went to floor. It does on me 5’6”. Just remember lift on stairs!!! Light weight but plenty warm for me. Love-princess cut & large hood! Wish for more color options I would recommend because i like cotton robes Esp after showering

very nice
This is a very nice well made robe. Finally a robe that is long enough. I would not consider this a light weight robe. It is more like a heavy towel and its perfect. I ordered white which is very nice and plan to order another color now that I see how nice it is. I washed and used fabric softened and hung to dry because I didn't know if it would shrink. After it was dry I did put it in my clothes dryer for a few minutes which made it softer.

It’s what I’ve been wanting!
5’1” and 170lbs and I got the L/XL. It’s a little long for me but I see it as I can dry my feet easy and fits just right across shoulders. Sleeves are the right length for me but I wish they were wider for better movement. It’s a light weight towel material but still pretty warm.

Nice robe, material not very thick
Hard to find a robe with a hood and down to the ankle. This one has both. The only down side is it’s not very thick as you would expect for this price range

Love it
Honestly I love. Short in the arms. But other than that I love it. I didn’t dry mine in the dryer I hung dry.

Lovely housecoat
Need to order upsize in order to be able to put in dryer-lots of shrinkage. Quality of housecoat is light (I like that) First one I ordered was medium-no way it goes into dryer- 2nd one ordered XL-washed and dried-turned out perfect length and appropriate amount of wrap around

Royal sleeping beauty
Amazing Robe, I want to live in it!Great colour, style, material, can’t say enough awesome things about this robe. It’s a must have! It was a few inches too long for me, I cut it and was going to hem it, but I prefer the fringe look.
