Ive ordered these twice both sets are beautiful. But sadly the second set came with a broken marble.and it was the purple one 😢

Even though one of the marbles was arrived cracked in half, I still give these marbles 5 stars. They are definitely not “run of the mill” variety. Each marble is a brilliant color and has a nice swirly design in a contrasting color. All the marbles I received were solids. The sad thing is the most pretty color, spring green, was the cracked in half marble. I am ordering these again because I like them so much and I am hoping I will get another green one.

These were perfect for my 16” Venetian solitaire marble game. Some of the marbles were the same as what came with my game, so I’m assuming the maker orders these too. The marbles have held up pretty well…I’ve only had a teeny sliver come off of one. The game is used quite a bit so, overall, I’m pleased to find marbles that fit it and allows me to change the colors out, once in awhile. If you have a kid, who likes to throw things, these are not for them,,they have some weight and could cause damage, if someone throws them hard.

Half of the shooters were what I was expecting. Half were not. They were dull dirty grey balls. I washed them and they got shiny, but it didn't last, dull again when dry. It looks like they weren't fired properly. So now I have to go buy more to finish my church project with the kids. I'll be looking somewhere else for the extras I need.

I specifically ordered from "The Toy Shelf" (and paid extra for shipping) because they had commented saying that they would make sure each marble was distinct. The marbles came in 2 bags of 12 marbles each. Each marble looks great. Some are shiny, a few have pot marks all through it, there is even a couple that have a dull chalky surface. All in all this is exactly what I wanted. There was a couple of marbles that were very similar but when I looked at them they were different enough I could easily tell them apart. I would buy again.
