10 hours of sunlight and it's charged for a year. I was tired of paying for new installations of watch batteries. We'll see how long this watch works. It's very comfortable-love the easy to use clasp. Very beautiful design with Swarofski crystals and mother of pearl face. Not heavy feeling at all.Jan 24, 2014. Picked up this gorgeous-I love it so much-watch and it had stopped running. My first thought was why would I need a new battery so soon? Then it sank in that this is my first solar powered watch. So ten hours of charge didn't last a year-no biggie to me. It recharged in a minute of sun and is working fine again. Now I know to put it on a window sill maybe once every 2-3 weeks to make sure it doesn't stop. I have two other watches which I really like, a Tissot and a Skagen. But I just keep wearing this one as it is so lovely. Only negative is that it doesn't have a second hand. But a second hand on this would probably make it less attractive. The mother of pearl face is so lovely and reflects different colors as you move.Another great feature is the deployment clasp. My Skagen also has that. With this you never need to worry about the clasp opening on its own and letting the entire watch fall off your wrist. It is also much more comfortable and easy to use than a band with holes like a belt.I'm loving Amazon because we can get information from people who really own what they review. Also the new question and answer feature is so helpful. I've received several thank you emails from people who read my reviews. It feels good to know that I'm helping people I don't even know to make their buying decisions. I just purchased a small blender and found so much information that it took an hour of reading, but was SO worth it.

I have worn this watch daily for about 2.5 months, and I have been very happy so far. It arrived charged, and with normal wear I have not had to do anything to recharge.I like that the watch is fairly dainty and doesn't call a ton of attention to itself, but at the same time it is very beautiful. The small stones help dress it up so it is quite versatile and can be dressed up or down.As a mom, it has been perfect so I don't have to constantly carry my phone around the house to keep track of the time, and it goes with nearly my entire wardrobe. I would definitely purchase again!

I got this on sale for prime day for $80 to replace my old $15 watch from target that didn't last very long. This watch is so beautiful with the crystals around the face, mother of pearl face, and V shaped links. I had to go to a jeweler to get it adjusted to my wrist since it was too big for me, but that is easy to do. I love watches that look like bracelets, and this is perfect in the silver color. Also love that it is solar powered so I don't have to keep getting the battery replaced when it dies. It was well worth the price, especially since I got it for such a big discount!

I love everything about this watch. First of all, it’s so carefree—no more batteries. Secondly, it’s a beautiful watch with a really nice band that has a nice secure clasp. I bought a watch just like this one (with some gold accents) about 10 years ago, and it’s still working like new. I’m extremely happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

This watch is very pretty. I love that it is solar powered, hopefully that feature will remain as reliable as my last Seiko.I have not found any way to shorten the band however. That is disappointing. In future I will have to be more careful selecting another. My last Seiko was a stretch band type that permitted removal of excess links. This one is not a stretch band.

I love my watch. It's pretty, and I get a lot of compliments on it. As others have said, the band is quite large. I bought it for this reason because I was very heavy and my wrist was very large. Since losing a great deal of weight, I've had to remove 3 links.I wear it constantly, every day, even while I sleep. There are little scratches here and there, on the band where it rubs against the desk, and some very tiny ones on the crystal. I do wish the crystal were a better material.Here's the thing: I do take it off to shower and do messy things like dishes. It went into my pocket, then disappeared for an entire year. Last night I found it under my bed, where it had been buried in the dark the whole time. Not only did it still have a charge, the time was accurate to the minute.

This is my absolute favorite watch. Tired of a watch that needs to go to the jewelers to get the battery changed and waiting while they struggle to get the back off and then pay big bucks for that tiny battery? Well, you don't have to worry about that with this watch. It is super gorgeous and solar powered. I work in an office and wear it every day as well as my dress up occasions. It keeps great time, looks so nice and dressy. I found it on Amazon at a much lower price than the chain jewelry stores. I like my band snug on my wrist and not moving around loose so I did have to take it to the jewelers to have some links removed.

I thought long and hard before buying this watch. I like the way it looks, but I was worried that it would be too heavy or clunky, as some watches with metal straps can be. Having read the positive reviews on this watch, especially those commenting on how comfortable it is, I finally purchased it. Of course, it also helped that it had just gone on a 50% off sale. Now that I have had it for a few weeks, I can safely say I am very pleased with this purchase. This watch is stylish with an understated elegance, without being flashy. Its color and swarovski crystals are the perfect compliments to my platinum engagement/wedding rings. As many reviewers have said before I did, it is very comfortable. In fact, it is so light and unobtrusive that the first few days after I started wearing it, I kept touching my wrist, just to make sure it was still there.

Beautiful watch. I purchased this watch for my daughter for Christmas. After adjusting the wrist band it fits her perfectly, and looks fabulous on her. She is very happy, and she likes the fact that she never has to replace a battery.
