MattelToy Story 3 Action Links Sunnyside Breakout Stunt Set

I ordered this toy just because my son asked for something from Toy Story and it turned out to be a better gift then just a last mintue thought. My neice, who is 16, and my nephew, who is 13, have both grown out of the toy stage...so I thought, until they saw the stunt set, that is. They played with both sets none stop Christmas morning. My sister came in the room and said,"Who Knew!?!?". She could have saved money by buying them toys instead of all the electronic nicks and nacks they were ignoring to play with my son's toys. Great Gift!

We bought this one last year 2011 and gave it to my son for 2012 Christmas. I was glad I waited because it is a bit complicated but he really likes it. It takes a few min to set up (fit the right pegs in the right holes) once you get it all set up its fun. My son really likes the rope swing part. It goes well with the set and a very nice addition. If you were to only purchase one i would recommend this one because it basically has 3 pieces.

I bought this for my daughter's 5th birthday. Manufacturer says it is appropriate for 5 years and up. I have to disagree on that one. Since it is an action sequence toy, one false move sets off a chain reaction and all the setting up is blown before it can be enjoyed. This is not a toy that most young children can be left alone with to play on their own. At least in this house, if my daughter wants to play with it, then I'm playing with it too.And it's really not so much fun to begin with. She opened it, we played with it once, and it hasn't been touched since.

My grandson loved this particular Action Link because he could quickly relate to the swing and the slide. He has other Action Links and loves to see the cause and effect when he starts the cycle. I also bought a Buddy Pack to go along with the Action Link because, although each Link comes with characters, there are often not enough to complete the action in the Link. Bought this for my 7 yr old brother, First off Ham the pig is NOT included! None of the links would work and its very fragile one wrong move and nothing would work! Not worth the money.

This toy is like a domino effect course. If you have ever played the game mouse trap it is very similar. It is a chain reaction toy when you set it up right. I got this for my 4 year old for Christmas and he plays with it all the time.

My son had a stomach virus and we couldn't go see the movie as planned so I bought the toy for him as a surprise the next day. How disappointing. The toy wasn't much fun without the other sets attached. It also didn't include the pig, so for the basket jump I purchased the slinky dog and dinosaur separately as the store didn't have the pig in stock. Unfortunately, the dinosaur didn't fit in the basket and the slinky dog didn't jump well.My son turns 5 in less than 3 weeks, so since the label says 5 to 7, I thought that the toy would be an appropriate play toy for him. However, even I had a hard time attaching Woody and the big baby to the assembly since I had to fit the tiny hole in their feet to a tiny little peg on the swing and the zip car. I also had a hard time figuring out how to keep the car from slipping down the zip line before we were ready to start as the piece didn't automatically lock in place. I eventually learned that if I added pressure on the back side of the hook and pushed down the swing would stay put; however, there was no mention of this on the instruction sheet.My son also had trouble putting the wooden swing back on the zip line since it fell off every time with Woody attached. As a result, he grew very frustrated while trying to set up the action link. I thought about putting the toy away for a few months but I couldn't take the toy back apart without causing damage. I also noticed that there is a stress mark on the plastic zip line after one afternoon of play so I don't think this toy will last more than a few days at most.

I bought this set for my sixteen year old nephew who is severely autistic but is really into anything to do with toy story. He was bitterly disappointed with the amount of time it takes to set up - because it keeps falling apart - and the limited use of what it can do when it is not linked to other sets. His favourite character is Jessie and she was pictured on the box so was led to believe she would be in there. When he realised that she wasn't there he had a very big temper tantrum and threw the remote control that was next to him at the television which smashed the screen. His father then swore at him which made him sob uncontrollingly for an hour and now he won't look at the toy anymore. A complete waste of money for any child but this incident has cost our family an awful lot more.

Upon receipt you look at it and think there is nothing to it and its not worth the money. You set it up and its absolutely fab. I bought it for my 4 yr old grandson and as he adores the film he thinks it is the greatest thing since sliced bread. the action moves are great and he sets it up time and time again giving his mum plenty of peace and ive been asked to get more sets for his birthday

Over priced for what it is, but great fun when added to all the other action links which works out expensive. Takes a bit of setting up for little play.

The kids had hours and hours of fun with this and the quality was good. Very well made.
