It is easy to snap on and off
This is a real review from a real person (which is exactly what the makers would want you to think if this wasn't real, which is exactly what they'd say if they wanted to trick you they were not them and instead me... hmmm)Previously I had an iPhone 5 with an OtterBox Defender (OBD) with 3-layer protection, including built-in screen protector. That's my gold standard. I read that for the iPhone 6+ it had some issues, so I thought I would try something different. I was attracted to this because it has a built-in screen protector, rubber corners, and even a kickstand, which I thought would help with the large size of the device.Yes, this is a big phone and having a full cover makes it a bit more bulky, so that is something to deal with, but the fact is that I've dropped an iphone 4 and had thank sinking feeling when the screen was cracked up and don't want to go there again if possible. This is a 2-layer protection system. It is easy to snap on and off, which is better than the OBD, as its third rubbery layer gets looser every time you take it off. I have already accidentally dr0pp3d the ip6+ a few times with this cover on from waist height and it has survived perfectly. I am very thankful to have the case on. As for the texture of the 2-layer case, it is doing its job very well and I really like the rubber corners. However, as a former OBD owner, I have to say that I really do not like the slippery hard plastic of this case compared to the outer rubbery layer of the OBD. The slipperiness makes it more likely to go flying away and crash, which I have had some close calls with. I wish it had a rough texture on the outside to aid holding.Ok, well the marquee feature seemed like it would be the kickstand. The metal is very strong, so I like that. because it is strong, I can not only stand it the proper way on the side, but I can also stand it vertically reasonably well too, though it is not designed for that. If they cut the stand dtick at an angle it could work both ways better. An unexpected feature is that I find myself using the kickstand when I am using the phone in my hand vertically as a way to help me hold the phone. It just feels better to hold it open. Now for the bad news, and it's really bad- the darn think does not stay closed hardly at all. It is simply way too loose. I know other stands are super tight, but this is super loose. In fact, I have the habit of flipping it open and closed all the time as a won't stay closed anyway (yeah, I'm the guy who's always tapping his leg ho you want to strangle...).Other features such as openings, rubber gaskets, and such are all in the correct place with the correct fit and work very well.Oh the screen, the cut out for the fingerprint is oversized and that allows gunk to get in there. I think it should have been cut to fit.Overall, I am between 3 and 4 stars, but the fact that I have not dumped it for an OBD yet means I must like it good enough for now. If it keeps slipping away like a stick of butter, then I'll probably try something else.

Look no further and buy this case
If you want superior protection for your iPhone 6 plus, this is the case for you. There are 2 seperate pieces to this case, the first is the main "housing" unit which your iphone sits in. The iPhone fits perfectly into this shell which is constructed from durable plastic with rubber outer corners (black) as well as a rubber inside to add additional protection from scratches, drops, etc. The on/off switch, volume control, ring/vibrate button, headphone connector, power connector and speaker cut out all line up perfect and are easily accessable. The black flaps for the ring/vibrate, headphone connecter and power connector all lock into place to prevent dirt/dust from entering. They actually lock into the case and don't flop around like some of the other cheap cases out there. The second piece is a complete screen protector that snaps (6 locations) into the main housing unit. The case makes your iPhone complete secure and protected from drops, scratches, dings and bending. The touch screen is super responsive and there is no lag when using the phone. You can't even tell that there is a screen protector on your phone. On the back of the case there is a "kickstand" that allows you to prop your phone in landscape mode which is great for watchng movies or reviewing recipies. This is a great extra feature that will come in handy. The case also comes with a belt clip which rotates 360 degrees and the phone locks into the holder. The belt clip is well constructed and has a thin rubber padding on the inside which helps protect your phone.Excellent phone case with complete protection. You will never have to worry about your phone getting scratched, damaged or bent with this case on. Look no further and buy this case. Great protection and not overpriced.

Might protect the phone from rain, but the case itself is not rainproof
Pro: love the lanyard attachment point. I don't understand why every case designed for active outdoor use doesn't have one of these. Worth more than drop protection: it's total drop prevention. Also, sound quality is fine due to the 'rainproof' rather than total seal 'waterproof' approach.Cons: if you use your phone in the rain, water will get in between the screen protector and the screen. once it does, actually using your touchscreen significantly will wreck the coating on the protective screen so that you get really bad splotchy rainbow effects. Had to replace the case after one outing in the rain because it seriously affected the visibility of my screen. Still, now I know and at Amazon's current price I can buy four of these for what the Lifeproof case costs, and Lifeproof didn't include a lanyard attachment point. You don't get good touchscreen response when there's even a light drizzle out, which makes me want to try the Lifeproof nuud, which leaves the screen open, but without the lanyard attachment on the Nuud I may stick with this one knowing I'll occasionally have to replace it.Pocket grit does manage to work it's way into the case as well - there's really a lot of gaps for moisture and grit to get in, so I do find myself having to take the phone out of the case for cleaning/drying regularly. For the price, I'm happy. But I'd hope something that advertises itself as rainproof wouldn't get destroyed by actually using it in the rain.
