Q: Will it lighten my roots? I have colored (darker brown) hair with grays coming in. I’m afraid this is going to brighten only my roots.

If your hair is already color treated, I would wait a month before trying any other color treatment. Then try a strand at the back of your neck where it won't be visible and make sure the color coverage is what you want. I find that this product completely covers my gray hair with a lovely 3-D effect throughout. Make sure you leave the color on for the full time for the best results. Good luck!
