Decent
It was pretty good. I like reading funny books but there was not so much of that. But cara inspired me to write a news paper. I will just have a sports paper with all the sports.

I'm impressed.
Im a 9 year old girl, I always loved Clements' books. I want to say this book inspires me and I think it's one of the best books Andrew wrote, like The School Story. I have to say that this book was really interesting, and in vacations, it maybe makes me miss school a bit. (SPOILER ALERT) I like how Mr. Larson was a really careless person but then he becomes proud of his job and students. Someday I might even make a newspaper myself!

Absolutely Loved It!!!
I read this book so that I could help my oldest son with his homework and I absolutely loved it! I even told my daughter about it who I am sure will love it too. I teared up a little bit when they boy read his story towards the end and I think it is a good way to learn about journalism, the bill of rights and fighting for your rights. I can not stress enough that every child (of the appropriate reading level) should read this book!

The Landry News
I like this book because it has a really cool made up newspaper. In the story it gave lots of information about the book.

Great
My son had to read this book for a school project and he is not an avid reader. He did not want to read the book but after five pages he was completely sucked in. He started asking questions about the constitution, amendments to the constitutions, freedom of speech, etc. It was great to see him interested on great topics thanks to this book.

Love it!
I love this book. I remember reading it in elementary school, but had to read it again for my one of my ED classes. It was just as wonderful as an adult. As a soon-to-be teacher, it also touched my heart AND gave me great teaching ideas! I definitely recommend for young students (2nd-4th grade) to read this book...as well as teachers!

Truth and Mercy
