Good paper card model kit
There's not nearly enough really good commercial paper card models available to the general public. I did enjoy seeing this one. One must be really look to the foreign market such as Poland or Japan to find good paper card models, or be a part of Zealot.com and PaperModelers.com and be active there to see great model builds and find good sites to buy quality paper card models. There are free Darth Vader kits out there around the internet to be sure, but this review is for this commercial kit. I found the kit to be quite nice and easy. There's no need to cut out parts which is one of the most tedious tasks of serious paper card modeling. I recommend any person wanting to buy this kit, if they are beginners to not use standard Elmers glue -- for that takes way too long. Instead, get yourself "Original Tacky Glue" from Aleene's and/or ZipDry - both found on Amazon. Also get yourself some good tweezers and especially some inverse tweezers. I use these to hold parts for a few minutes while I work on other parts. I like the glossy paper used in this and if you find you have the white glue seeping out, just clean it off with water and a wet paper towel. I also use a black sharpie marker to blacken all the white edges. Again, the kit is not for the most basic beginners, I would define it as a level 2-3, intermediate. Don't bother
I was having a hard time with this so I checked the reviews. The instructions say to use white glue and glue 4 tabs at a time which makes it a life time job. The experienced person says to use tacky glue so I switched to that which speeds up the time between gluing. I also got 4 clamps so I didn't have to sit holding waiting for the glue to dry. I am an experienced model builder but not as much in paper. I got this as a gift so I feel obligated to finish it, otherwise I would not bother. I have done some paper kits but this is the first one that there is no doubt it is paper because each ring in making the helmet and face looks like a ring of paper. You will also have to paint the edges of the paper which is white.

Worst kit ever
Worst kit ever!! The creator is probably a genius, but the rest of us pedestrians have no idea what the hell that genius was thinking. Following the gluing instructions alone would take 3 years to let each tiny piece dry before moving to the next piece. And the instructions...god the instructions... were like Chinese Braile. The I would look at my progress, then look back at the illustration, and I'd swear someone switched books on me. My slowly evolving Darth Vader looked more like Vader's retarded cousin. My six year old, whom I purchased this for on his birthday, just stared blankly at his retarded gift, and went off to play with his well-adjusted toys.

Worst craft imaginable!!!
Worst Craft I've ever purchased! The tabs to connect the pieces are so small they are nealy impossible to attached to one another. Then they expect you to use glue to adhere the pieces to one another but that is impossible because of the amount of time needed to hold the pieces together. We use tape as an alternative and even then this project was nearly impossible. Do not get this product!
