Old Fashioned Pretzel Rods, 27 Oz Canister

First of all I read reviews on these pretzels and some people complain that some of the rods are broken. I did a scientific blindfold test and I tested The Unbroken rods with the broken rods and they all taste the same. Wonderful pretzel rods sometimes hard to get but very excellent.

I've ordered this product twice. Both times there were three things I did not like: (1)The pretzels were on the stale side; (2) most of the rods were broken into smaller pieces; (3) a lot of the salt had been jostled off the rods leaving the pretzels too salt-free for my taste. Snyder makes a great pretzel but I will not be ordering this packaging from Amazon agan.

I bought 2 tubs of these pretzel rods for dipping in chocolate and decorating for Christmas. I thought the plastic bucket would help keep them from breaking. I was wrong. I don’t know if they were broken before or during Amazon delivery, but by the time they were delivered most were in pieces. I divided the pretzels between the buckets based on size. I filled one bucket to the top with pieces smaller than half a rod. In the second bucket I put 31 unbroken pretzel rods and 48 rods that were broken but still at least half-sized rods. Between the 2 buckets there should have been about 162 whole pretzel rods…only 31 made it intact. They taste fine, but the pretzel pieces won’t work for chocolate dipped pretzel rod gifts.

Very good and comes with a lot

Love buying a bigger amount of pretzels. They are a family favorite! They were fresh and not stale. The taste was what I expected, tasted really good and were nice and crunchy. Delivery was a couple of days and wished they came faster.

As pointed out in other reviews a lot of the rods were broken mostly in half. It was packed in a box but I’m sure the box was thrown around resulting in broken rods. I’m the only one who was going to eat them so I really don’t mind, especially since they were a good price. Also they are tasty and not too much salt which I like. They were fresh which is good since there is nothing worse than stale pretzels. Since many were broken in half I probably ate less at a time since the portions were less.

Broken far more than we expected - not sure if we'll continue with subscribe and save - good price but at a loss of quality to a degree. Pretzels were good, good amount of salt. Expiration Sept 10th (delivered July 23rd). If you want whole pretzel rods you might be disappointed in ship to door.

Although this was the Best Pretzel in This Form (Rod) that I found, the entire container of rods were broken. However, I don't put the blame on Snyder's packaging. It was lidded and sealed properly. The problem is that the carton it came in was not properly packed! One thin sheet of plastic was all that was placed around this tub of pretzels for shipment. It ROLLED around that box from point A to point B for a day or two, being tossed by loaders and drivers, who KNOWS how many times! My assumption is, though, even how well this product could be packed for shipment, maybe it shouldn't be. I've read the many reviews on how this item was received by its buyers, all broken, so maybe this product isn't fit for shipment from Amazon, etc. Sorry, I am big on Amazon.

Muy mal , Llego todo despedazado el producto

Estoy algo Molesta porque llegaron la mayoría rotos y no los pude ocupar para mi evento . Además a viendo lo que llego. Producto carísimo !! Una decepción!!

All arrived broken

Llegaron la gran mayoría, los quería para un postre pero así me son inservibles. Creo que el empaque NO es el adecuado. Debí leer las opiniones para no comprarlos.
