400V 25A Bridge Rectifier

Ordered for a friend who has and electric lawn mower. Did the trick. Perfect fit and performance. At the price paid, ordered a second one to keep on hand. Apparently when electric mowers fail, this is most frequently the culprit. Many people put their electric mowers out for trash. The don't know that for just a few dollars they can easily replace this part themselves. I wish everyone who owns an electric mower knew this. Please pass this knowledge on to everyone you know who has an electric mower. Please don't take advantage of people who throw out their mowers without knowing. If they are mowing their own lawns, they probably can't afford landscapers, and they probably can't afford to keep replacing mowers. Do the right thing! If you see an electric mower out for trash, knock on the door of the house and tell them about this part! Be part of the solution, not part of the problem (a mean, selfish, dishonest world).

This product saved me from having to purchase another lawnmower. My Black and Decker electric lawnmower stopped working and the problem was a part that cost only a few dollars. The retailer was wanting me to send the electric lawnmower to a service center for a fee of $50+. My warranty expired and so, the cost was out of pocket even though it was a common problem for the Black and Decker lawnmower to quit due to the plastic rectifier wearing out.Parts Express sells metal rectifiers. I loaned my GreenWorks electric lawnmower out to someone that tried to plow through a field of tall weeds. Needless to say because it wasn't his, he didn't take it easy. He ended up screwing the mower up to where it blew twenty amp breakers as soon as it turned on. I got online and learned it was probably a bad rectifier. I took it out and tested it with my multimeter and determined it was the full wave rectifier that was bad. Ordered it, put a little heat sink paste on it, screwed it down, hooked the wires and the mower ran like new. I'm glad it was a cheap fix, or I should say the guy that borrowed the mower from me was glad it was a cheap fix, LOL.

My Homelite electric mower stopped working when I tried to mow a tall patch of grass. Then, when I tried to start the mower, it would trip the breaker. After some research online I found that the most likely cause was a faulty bridge rectifier. Sure enough, this part made my mower good as new. A quick and easy replacement for someone with modest handyman skills. And for the price, worth a try before buying a new mower!

Well, my hubby bought this. Twice, I think. Our lawnmower had an issue that he wanted to fix himself. So he googled and found out he needed this part. He used it, and the lawnmower worked again! For about 10 minutes, until it caught on fire. I'm sure this part had little to nothing to do with the fire, but the point is... if you aren't mechanically inclined (he isn't) don't try to fix a lawnmower yourself.

When I was trying to start my Greenworks electric corded lawn mower, it wouldn’t start and would trip the breaker in my garage. After doing a quick Google search and watching a few YouTube videos, I stumbled upon this replacement part. I was willing to give this inexpensive part a try. After installation, it resolved my issue, and I have been able to use my lawn mower again. My only minor complaint is the original part seemed to have sturdier connections than this one. Only time will tell how long this part lasts.
