i have the kindle paperwhite 2nd gen.i keep it in the leather case that puts it to sleep. i take it every where and wanted alittle more protection. this is just what i needed, great protection and it has a built in stand. so no more leaning it against my drink or wall , very unsafe. tis is the best and the price is great. you can`t buy them in any store which is a bummer. i highly recommend this case. i just bought another one for my moms kindle .love it...
