The 3M reflective technology is really effective. I applied these to a black electric scooter and wanted to increase visibility when riding in the morning hours without adding red or white or yellow. When a car headlight shines on the sticker in a perpendicular angle, it comes alive looking silver. If you shine light on an angle, like a 45 degrees, it doesn't really light up much. In over head daylight, they look silver. In a shadow or indoors they blend in with the black of the scooter so it doesn't look much different than without the stickers. Being a scooter, I've ended up rubbing the scooter on curbs, leaned it on bike racks, and the stickers aren't indestructible. They probably won't come off under other use cases, like on a helmet without crashing it. I think the sticker material is good quality, but after a few months, I've abraded and torn some of the stickers. I can use a knife and cut out the damaged areas and the rest of the sticker remains intact, and "patch" the sticker with a new one. So it's working out.

These are high quality reflective stickers. My son’s bike is black and at dusk/evening he’s not very noticeable even with the standard reflective badges. He did not want anything colorful on his bike. He likes solid matte black. I bought one pack of these and outlined his bike like the examples shared by others. The stickers are not noticeable during the day. And at night, when any light is on it it, it shows up beautifully. One packaged only covered one side so I had to order a 2nd package. Easy to put on. You’ll want to plan out the placement (and pattern, if appropriate) of the stickers. Once you stick them, I don’t really recommend trying to move it around. The stickers are thin to conform to the curves of a bike. If you pull it off to adjust, it wrinkles and could tear. The wrinkles show when you re-stick them. I highly recommend these reflective stickers.

These stickers reflect well, but the ends of the long strips started too peel off after only one day. I used electric tape and taped the ends down so they'd stop peeling. Other than that they do a good job.

I love the fact that these are black so in the daytime, they are almost invisible on my black equipment. However at night time everything starts glowing beautifully! These reflect extremely well, which I didn't expect as I had previously purchased black reflectors and they were awful! This is absolutely superb, and I recommend it to everyone!

Let's be honest, it was fun for me. The black color blends in well during the day, and then lights up in low light. Helps make sure my little is more easily seen. Awesome. Wish there were more kid friendly shapes and color combo pack options available. Update:5/19/23 many stickers are falling off. I cleaned the bike, dried the bike, and it's still an indoor bike at the moment (kiddo is just learning to balance).... kind of sad and disappointed and it hasn't even met the sidewalk, sun or dirt yet.

Decals are nearly invisible on my dark green frame and black wheels, but I light up like a TRON bike when headlights hit me. Highly recommended.
