Tech Pro Hybbrid.....good or bad ??????
I dont ever get time to write reviews on things and is extremely rare that I do, As an audiophile sound user with my own home studio, have been in bands etc, I have the need to play my music at home with Godzilla belly rolling sub bass tones also without loosing clarity and sharpness of midrange & treble. I had looked at the very atractive hybrids on amazon, read some not so good to bad reviews and eventually took the plunge and chosen the Pyle Pro 3000 Watt hybrid. It arrived and I was quite pleased with it except for loud fan running almost constantly when in use,Unfortunately it lasted aprox 2 months. So I sent it back through amazon with full refund and no hassle whatsoeverAs I really liked the amp, after reading many reviews, I decided to take another chance on the almost simular Technical Pro HB2502U.It arrived from America quite quickly so I hooked it up to my 4x 300watt Pyle & Auna 15" speakers and the Pyle PTA3000watt power amplifier driving 2x 400watt Ekho 15" sub woofers.also using Beringer Ultragraph Pro 64 chanel EQ...............switched it all on............a few adjustments to EQ, amp, bass, treble and sub amp levels......balance the sub & pre output levels on the Technical pro amp........cranked it up and............"YEOW"......I said ......"YEOWWW"..... this thing does what i would expect for price range despite bad reviewsHmm !!! Hmm !!!, .......OK.......not quite Hi Fi sound quality or the power it proclaims to be, but with the right setupie: sub woofer & amplifier, its deadly enough with headroom to spare way before distortion levels would interfere with my required leves of listening volume. The truth is, seperately balanced volumes and frequecy levels is best if you intend to crank it up so loud that it all begins to sound like a lot of noise.....that is until you get some distance away from the speakersThe many to mention features are as I would need espesially the seperate Pre & Sub outs which gives you balance control over the attached output amplifiers whilst the main volume being used as master controland the best part of all is its still going strong without any of the problems with the previously purchaced amplifer.More than powerfull enough for home or Small to medium venue use with seperate power amplifier for subs and would recommend above setup but......4 out of 5 for the amplifier due to no remote on /off good buy

Incredibly good buy
Bought this to use as an amateur DJ. Powers 4 professional speakers with great fidelity, almost audiophile quality. While it's true that you should buy amplifiers based on specs and speakers based on hearing the sound quality, you can't go wrong with this amp. I had been powering my good speakers with and old amp and just couldn't get good sound. This amp filled a dance hall for a 300 guest wedding, a 200 guest New Years Eve party, and many other dances.

Product has been good in past, but warranty sucks on new purchase.........
This is the second hybrid amp I have bought from Technical Pro. The first one has been great up to about a year ago when the digital display started to fail and made the readout useless. I bought this one to replace the old one. This one is a higher powered unit which seems ok except for one of the channels giving the appearance of having a cracked speaker and therefore useless for it's intended purpose. We troubleshooted the issue and found that with different speakers, different speaker cables, different rca cables, etc it came down to the amp having a bad channel. I tried to return but it was too long after the purchase to be done through Amazon even though I had just opened the box that day for use, finally after a long winter. Contact with Technical Pro less than impressive. TP wants you to ship the unit back at your expense, and send them $30, for "shipping and handling. Some warranty. My $220 amp just became $280 if I want it fixed. I think I'll go with another brand and hope for a better warranty setup.

My finace was so excited to receive this Amp, ...
My finace was so excited to receive this Amp, but when setting it up, the lights came on and digital showed music being played, but no sound. After hours of being sure it was wired to the speakers correctly, we finally got Tech support who said it was defective, send it back... luckily we bought a warranty to send it back free, but now he has to wait to receive the replacement.

Not recommended
Not good. Fan comes on even at low volume levels. Very temperamental when it worked. After about 20 months would not go above a whisper without cutting out.

Definitely Worth the Investment
I like the looks and the strong performance of the HB3502U Amplifier. it drives my Klipsch Heresy speakers and sounds very nice with all the power the speakers can handle and I need for my enjoyment. It hope it lasts 23 years like my NAD amplifer did!!The buttons are very small but manageable once you understand their function and the Bass & Treble control is something different but again, manageable once you understand the function.I'm glad I selected this amplifier and the price is very reasonable for the sound quality that it delivers.

Mythical power rating
I own an electronics repair business. The actual measured power is 80 watts RMS into 8 Ohms, both channels driven. Peak power ratings are useless.
