Giant USS Battleship

we gave our little military aficionado this battleship for christmas this past yr. . .major, major hit! he plays w it daily. . .which is pretty remarkable i think. [esp for an eight yr old kiddo in a world of video games, iPads, 24/7 streaming TV, etc... ha] he alrdy has several aircraft carriers and prolly a dozen various jets, helos, herc c130s. . .plus subs, tanks, a higgins boat, you name it. what he desperately wanted though to round out his perfect military fleet was the perfect battleship. he began asking for it three or four months before christmas. this one is [almost] perfect! i say 'almost perfect' bc: • the design and appearance are particularly authentic and accurate • the overall quality is way above average [my son plays with his in the bathtub, in the yard, on our hardwood floors, in his outdoor playhouse]! • the bottom 'drawer' is a VERY cool touch • BUT! the air traffic control towers are especially flimsy and fall off constantly! overall... we highly recommend. :)

Nephew loved it, so I'm very satisfied and it's large for a child, which as I see it is great. Came with all the pieces and is currently a favorite pool toy. Its not crazy durable, but not flimsy either....should be very adequate and is good for the price point

A fun toy, large and sturdy, and rare type. Planes are not the best, but did not buy this for the smaller toys.s. Everything is good, tho i think it is a bit on the expensive side.

It was a Christmas gift for my six year old grandson. It's big and sturdy and fun for play. He ended up getting two for Christmas but hey...every one needs a fleet of battleships. He lines them up with his giant aircraft carrier in fleet formation.

The price is perfect & i got it in 2 days

Our boys (10, 4) both love these battleships! They are much larger than I thought, but a great size for playing. The ship comes with lots of extras that fit in to a handy drawer in the side. We highly recommend these ships!

Less than 0! Ordered twice and each time it was missing many parts!

I gave this as a gift to a five year old nephew and he loves it. He comes home from school and goes straight for it. Very sturdy.

This large toy battleship is a must-have, ultimate naval piece for your toy soldier armies and navies. I already have four (two new and two salvaged) and they are the centrepieces of my navy. The ship comes in a long box, with some of the superstructure elements disassembled and stwed in a bag (the primary and secondary turrets, the masts, fire directors and the bridge). The ship also comes accompanied by four die-cast aircraft two die-cast vehicles and a few toy soldiers. The battleship has a side drawer where you can store the additional items or many other pieces. It is modeled after the modernised American Iowa Class Battleships (less artillery, replaced by missile batteries). The toy has three wheels to facilitate movement on the floor and, although you can get it to float, I don't recommend using it in water (it's a toy for the living room floor, use your imagination). I bought my first one about 3 years ago and it's still completely intact and undamaged. The toy is sturdy but if handled savagely, it will break - an agitated child will lose the turrets and other small pieces almost immediately. From the perspective of someone who has tens of thousands of toy soldiers, vehicles, aircraft and ships, this piece is completely worth the money and it will be a main piece in almost any collection.

Great sized toy boat with a built in storage compartment. Floats OK in water but is by no means water proof. The towers come off quite easily, but for my son that is a blessing, because otherwise they'd have snapped off by now. He carries it everywhere and it's still all in one piece, which is very impressive considering what happens to most of his toys ;)

Given to my soldier mad 6 year old nephew who loved it. Easy to put together and nicely made.

Whilst my son is happy with this toy, the parts do not fit well. They continuously come off and the main parts had to be glued on to keep them in place as they kept popping off. Disappointing.

The push fit footings don’t stay in place so end up not being used. Apart from that my boy has enjoyed playing with it.
