Uni the Unicorn and the Dream Come True

Beautiful pictures and sweet story. Great for younger kids.

I was expecting a board book, as my first Uni the Unicorn book is a board book. I was assuming this one would match, but I honestly didn't pay much attention, I just got excited when I saw the next one and bought it (my girls LOVE Uni the Unicorn). Really no big deal, just not what I expected, and we have to be careful that baby doesn't get ahold of it like she can the board book. However, it is a GREAT hardcover book and comes with a dust jacket (which I don't understand the purpose of for kids, other than to get ripped or lost), BUT overall, a great and beautiful book, and a cute continuation of the story. Would definitely recommend!

Great book to read. My daughter checked out this book frequently from the library.

The original is my six year old daughter's favorite book, so when I saw this we had to buy it immediately. We've read it at bedtime every night since it arrived, she will not read anything else right now. The illustrations are still beautiful, though the paper is cheaper/less glossy than the original. The story is still incredibly cute, and sets up the inevitable next book in the series. If you're a fan of the first, you should absolutely pick this one up too.

The book series is one of my grand children s favorite

I'm a HUUUUUUUUGGGGGEEEEE fan of Amy Krouse Rosenthal and ESPECIALLY Bridgette Bariger's BEAUTIFUL illustrations. I want to just display all the pages! The story is so sweet as well. We have the first Uni the Unicorn book and have been waiting for the sequel. My 5yo loves all things Unicorn but fell especially in love with the story of Uni and the little girl, it may help that she looks a lot like the little girl, but we read and re-read almost every day. :)

Both of these books are good. The basic message is to believe in the impossible, even when others around you don’t. I do wish the author had picked something other than unicorns to base this around, soothing that actually is possible. My daughter loves unicorns, so she can’t get enough of it, but the book is just ok and I feel could inadvertently be counter-productive. I could be over thinking it a bit, but I’m also one of those lame parents that doesn’t press the idea of Santa Claus.

Get the first Uni book, AND this one (the sequel). I'm always looking for books that tell a story with a real plot, and that illustrate spiritual virtues. These books do it all, in a gentle and subtle way. To be honest, I was worried the illustrations would be too cartoonish, but they are not. The colors are clear and bright, there is a lot of interest and movement on the pages, and most of all my granddaughters love these stories.

Este libro, la segunda parte de la serie, es tierno y divertido, pero el final indica que habrá por lo menos un libro más... Creo que la historia pudo desarrollarse más, en este libro. Sin embargo, se disfruta la lectura y las coloridas ilustraciones.

A beautiful story. Great illustrations. Both me and my daughter really enjoyed reading it. The first of those stories: Uni the Unicorn is also fantastic. So glad i bought both.
