The Shakin Stevens Collection

If we here across the pond could get Mr. Stevens to grace us with a big, slaming Las Vegas show this would be it! The sound is highly produced and arranged, there is some schmaltzy stuff but it's beautiful, sound quality is superb. You get great musicians, arrangements and super dooper Rockabilly with sounds like Elvis with the Jordaneirs. O.K. One disco version, and a Zydeco with an accordian who just kills it. Hey in Vegas you got to put on a show for all kinds of folks in attendance. If we could actually get this gig together, but hey, Stevens is one of those hardest working and charismastic performers and this disc is so, so, good!

Love his retro style and music.

The CD looks very used. The DVD looks and plays perfectly. Shakin' is o.k. but he needs to do some newer material

What can you say about Shakin Stevens. Brilliant in the 80's. My wife and I Loved him, and still do. When this C'D arrived we put it in the car and had it full blast when we were driving along, it brought back so many memories for us, songs like, Hot Dog,"Marie Marie" Lipstick powder and Paint, This ole House, and many more. And he still looks good today. Keep going Shaky. Highly Recommend.
