Modul'Home Floating Shelf board/MDF, Light Oak, 25x25x3,4cm

Really not happy with how this shelf arrived as shown in the photos both sides corners are damaged so unable to hide it. Cannot contact the seller to ask for a replacement. Not the best quality at all.

Not very strong but does the job.Puzzled why some would struggle to fit?It has horizontal “ key shaped” slots on one side and vertical on the other.Therefore the vertical slots should be slightly higher to allow it to “ slide down keyhole locking slot”Use a pen to transfer a line up the locking slot onto the surface so you know where to mark it on the wall. Then allow a few millimetres so horizontal slots slide down.If you stare at the slots for a moment it will make sense although a template or instructions should really be included.

This shelf is terrible. REALLY difficult to put up. No template and unclear instructions. You have to put the side on with the two screws first and then manoeuvre the other side on. Not an easy procedure and needed numerous attempts with the result the holes are spreading because it is only MDF. Have now got to buy No more nails to try and make it more secure although I only want it to hold a light pot plant nut would not trust fitting to even hold that securely. Also chips very easily. Do not waste your money on this product. I would have returned it but my husband destroyed the box not realising how difficult the job was going to be.

Well these have arrived and they are lovely but no one can work out how to hang them with the screw holes going on different directions! No instructions with them!! Not happy. As we threw wrapping away probably got to ditch them. Are there any instructions that should have arrived?

Perfect, provided you only wanted to balance a child's balloon on it.I wouldn't trust it with any more weight than that.No drilling template for the hole locations.The whole of the shelf's load bearing is carried by way of 3 small diameter countersunk screw heads slid into very thin-wall MDF locations. An absolute recipe for problems, with zero ability to absorb any form of wear and tear and definitely only minimal load before they broke through.Very disappointed with this unit.

Check how square your walls are before buying as they will be difficult to hang and look untidy if they are out. They are not the easiest item to fix in place even for someone who is a very competent DIYer. But it can be done with patience and care. They looked OK once up although quite small, Just big enough for a small pot plant, picture frame, etc.

Its ok, instructions were really terrible and theres no template for the screw fit. Very awkward to fit, and not very level or sturdy. I would recommend you buy an alternative as this is not worth the money.
