However, it's a little saltier than I'd like so I have to be slightly careful to not over-season dishes that use it. This is by no means a dealbreaker but a point of caution. The flavour is robust, beefy and satisfying. Used for chillis, bolognaise etc, it can elevate dishes which would otherwise have been anaemic and shallow in flavour to the rich, hearty result we're all looking for. For the home cook, a tub can last a long time when used sparingly. I use mine constantly together with the same brand's chicken stock powder.
