Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Wallet Cover - Retail Packaging - Black

Bottom line, this is a great wallet cover IF protecting the phone is NOT your top priority. I'm not saying that it offers no protection but you can just look at the picture and see that if you drop your phone...good luck. On to the specifics...I was initially going to give the wallet cover a 4/5, but after using it a while and considering the $12.99 price, I have to give it the full 5 stars. Sure the curved edge is exposed but that's actually a plus. Since the phone turns off when you close the wallet, the exposed edge is still functional. Depending on the panels used, you can still see your agenda, alerts and etc while the wallet is closed. And as corny as it may be, it is pretty cool that there is a "special" edge display when you close the wallet. I love the fact that the wallet doesn't make the phone more bulky as it becomes the back cover. I commute by train so the wallet style adds a little privacy. I do not carry a credit card in the card holder since there is a magnet in the wallet, but it might be a good place to keep a couple of business cards handy. Also, the cover is grey not black. If you have a deep hate for grey, you may be disappointed, but for most people, I don't think its a big deal. It's very dark but it is not black. I would recommend this case to anyone who is not constantly in an environment where it is likely that you'll drop your phone numerous times on a hard surface. So if you are will to sacrifice some phone protection for style and new functions, this is a good choice. But if you are like my stay at home wife and constantly handles kids who don't understand the value of a dollar yet, move on to something at offers more protection.

This cover is great. Is well constructed, great quality, and I love the way that it interacts with the phone. It gives you more options for interacting with the edge part of the phone, allowing you to answer the phone, get alerts, see the date and time, and other simple tasks without the need of the big screen. I will choose to buy this case again. For me is a winner. Some comments before you purchase: 1- I have read some reviews telling that this cover will drain the battery. In my case, the battery life has stayed the same. Maybe the battery issues will come due to a faulty case, or if the case is not closed properly it will "confuse" the phone making it activate some edge functions, thus draining the battery. 2- Please note that this cover is not intended to protect your phone against falls or impacts. It offers some protection to the screen against scratches and such, but is not an impact resistant case. 3- Also note that this cover replaces the original back cover of the phone. It snaps firmly as it was manufactured with the phone. For me is no trouble, but some people may not like this.

This is an absolutely beautiful case! Some of the issues I was concerned about prior to receiving it were weather the Note Edge could be used as a phone with this cover closed, and weather the volume controls could be accessed with this cover. I am happy to say that both concerns have been laid to rest! The cover has a cut out where the speaker is so the phone can be easily used to make calls with the cover closed. Also, the case has an embossed volume control on the edge so the volume buttons can easily be used with the case on. All the openings and ports are perfectly accessible and match exactly to the Note Edge. This case also has a smart cover which automatically wakes the phone when it is opened and puts it to sleep when closed. The case attaches directly to the back of the phone, so it is quite secure. The edge screen is exposed so the edge feature can be used with no problems with the case closed. I am very glad that I went with this case rather than one of the others I was considering.

This cover is awesome. It makes the phone! Actually becomes part of the phone because the back of the phone is removed and the back cover becomes part of the case. The leather feels and looks very expensive. It provides enough protection and I have no issue with the closure that others have mentioned as an issue. I think that it just needs to be broke in alittle and it will close completely normal. It looks so nice in white against the white phone and the curve of the edge. The EDGE of the phone revealed on the side flashing messages or the time looks amazing. I get so many compliments. Buy it you will not be disappointed!!

Exactly as described. This case replaced the original Samsung case I bought with my phone. The packaging was identical and I have no doubt that this is a genuine Samsung product. I like this wallet style case because it protects my phone, looks nice, and has an slot in the inside cover that is handy for a business card, etc. I have my phone set up that when I close the cover my screen goes into lock mode. The case itself looks like leather but it probably is faux. The case that this one is replacing has held up for over two years and is still working, I just wanted to freshen up my phone.

High quality case, I've had it since May and it's held up nicely as far as I'm concerened, seeing as I have a pretty high energy job. It's survived many a fall without popping off and I am impressed by that. I will say that the texture on the gray case is much nicer; my boyfriend opted for gray so our phones didn't match and his has a great leathery feel to it. This one is very smooth and sometimes slippery to hold. Color fastness is another con, because it is a white case I definitely expected that it would dirty quickly, however I did not expect it to turn blue from keeping my phone in my back pocket of my blue jeans. If these were new jeans I would understand, but these jeans were already months old and had many washes since purchase. All in all it's a solid case and the smart feature with the edge clock is very handy for those who use their phone as an alarm.

I love this case. I've had a lot of cases for all my phones, both OEM and non OEM. I've been lucky to find the OEM Samsung cases on clearance for both my S4 and and my note edge; in both cases they were WAY better than my other ones (and I don't buy the super cheap ones either, I just find it hard to spend $40 on a case). For this particular case (the note edge one), I got my first one from the ATT store soon after I got my phone to replace the non OEM one I had. This was before the note 5 was out so I've had it for a while now. I keep dropping my phone so one of the pins that holds the case in place doesn't quite hold as well as it used to (but still is holding up okay). I'm just concerned that with my phone dropping habits, the pin will finally go and it will be hard to find this case so I bought this one as a spare for when that happens. So, that should sum up how much I love this case. I bought a spare in case for when my current one gives out because I'm so concerned I won't find it now the note 5 has been out of a while. Also, if you don't constantly drop your phone, your case will probably hold out a long time. The one I have only shows signs of wear and tear despite the abuse.

Came as the wrong color as what I ordered but other than that it's a good product. Phone stays put and turns off and on when opened which is nice.

It is original Samsung Cover. I have purchased this product at deal time at Rs.650. Flip magnetic also have worked.

I use my Note Edge at work on a construction site all the time. The cover has saved the phone a few times when I dropped it and the cover closed in time to protect the screen from hitting gravel. I have a few extras of this item.
