About how I remember them, but mine were somewhat stale
These are very similar to Ferrara Pan's Boston Baked Beans but the color is a bit lighter. Mine were not fresh and the shell was very hard. However, I was able to use an old cookie jar trick and stick a piece of bread in with the candy, which softened them right up. So while salvageable, I took off a star for staleness. Your mileage may vary, however.

I actually put these into our gumball machine. These are a favorite of mine from childhood and they don't disappoint. Love them!

Pay Full Price for Expired Product
Facts: I bought these on 4/24. They arrived on 4/29. The packaging says “Best By: 03/04/2022.” See attached photo.Opinion: The taste isn’t bad. They are pretty hard. A lot of the peanuts are very stale and the others seem very low grade as they have little flavor. I would have liked to try a product in the “best” tasting window to know if the peanuts are good. Purchase at your own risk!

They need to change the packing method, these came loose in the mailer envelope and therefore were not eatable, Amazon refunded the price.Good candy , fresh and crunchy I have bought them before and will buy again.

These are the Real Deal
These Boston Baked Beans are as close to the ones I used to get out to the candy machine when I was a youngster. Great flavor and the nuts are not mushy.
