Good translations and commentary of what may be our closes connection to the origins of "Christianity" (still Jewish then and only for Jews and still keeping the Law)--otherwise all we have is a few comments from a Roman and/or Jewish historian, the propaganda history of Paul's efforts, "Acts", some letters from Saul/Paul to a few churches (taking his story to the gentiles in return for bringing collections back to the James' church in Jerusalem) with almost no references to anything recognized as historical-not even mention of Nero burning Rome, and the Gospel tracts written years after Paul with the mostly agreed upon consensus "story" of how their particular version came to be. No wonder the catholic "translators" kept these from the public for as long as they could.

If your looking for the true name of our Saviour, then this is definitely the book to get. The entire book gives you the fragments of the dead sea scrolls in Hebrew, and in English. It also references other scrolls that aren't included here to back things up. Make sure you check out fragment 9 if you really are interested in finding out our Saviours true name. I like how there was the Hebrew with the English so I could translate on my own if I wanted. I just wish each "fragment / scroll" had a year attached to it. Also, some of the commentary is a bit skewed. I'll leave it at that before I start my rant. Shalom! ;)

To learn about the writings in the Bible

Received in a timely manner and in great condition. I am a real fan of Prof. Eisenman and try to collect all of his works. The most recent of his books have been a fantastic deal. Just wish the seller would not put price or code paper stamping on the front cover.

A great book uncovering the mysteries that were of old. The reason why the elite hide different pieces to downgrade the christian faith much like how Isaiah 53 is forbidden.

I thought the newer edition would have inc/ more. I have this vol. twice. Well treated and interesting, espec. mention of latest discoveries.

Very interesting book , even more interesting is Robert H Eisenman's opinion as disclosed in his you tube video seminar series , in some ways the latter caused me to not pay as much attention to the book , however facts are facts and when i have read and comprhended the entire book i will likely submit a further review .
