I like it better than the original
YES well worth the price, and easy to use. It replaces the horable gas tube that you have to hold in and push down the yellow thing. This one just screws on inplace of the one that comes with your gas can. Note, it comes with a plug for the hole you will want to drill in the gas can. So it can breath, I have not drilled the hole, and so my gas pour is slow, but it works great. I have not had one drop of gas leak out of the seal between the can and the gas tube. The gas tube is plastic just like the original.

Flow baby flow...
Works great with water jugs....Yeah, yeah, that's it, waaater jugs... Seriously, I don't spill gas everywhere when I use these, unlike the clumsy EPA mandated and approved junk that the manufacturers have to sell with new gas cans.

Not Readily Compatible with the Briggs & Stratton, Press 'n Pour, Gas Can
I'm guilty of purchasing a gas can, whose design is one of the worst that has ever been implemented and offered to the general public. I'm talking about the Briggs & Stratton, Press 'n Pour, gas can. Unlike the simple, traditional gas can, it has a non-flexible gas spout, that requires you to hold down a button, in order for gas to flow out of it. It's a major pain -- especially in cold weather. One time, I didn't even bother to use all of the gas, in the can, because the weather was so cold that my finger nearly froze, while holding down that stupid button. It's a terrible design; not to mention that it can leak. As a remedy, I bought this EZ-Pour product; which is designed to allow you to replace the spout, on a gas can. It's the traditional, simple, flexible, spout, that has served us well, for several decades. I was able to get it to work, but not without some modifications. First of all, neither of the two, screw, base caps are compatible with the Briggs and Stratton, Press 'n Pour. So, if that's the kind of gas can that you have, just know that the threads aren't compatible. However, the spout, which is placed through the hole of either of the screw caps, is the right size. In order to get this to work, I had to saw off the poorly-designed spout, which came with my gas can, and replace it with the EZ-Pour. This means using the original screw cap, with the EZ-Pour spout. This kit comes with a yellow, push-in, vent plug, that is supposed to be inserted into the back of the gas can, after drilling a hole. Right off the bat, I knew better than to trust this thing. The design implies that you're supposed to drill a hole, and simply bush this vent plug, into it. I'm sure that, doing so, will provide a vent plug that may also leak, and smell. This is because there is no seal between the vent plug, and the gas can. In order to solve this problem, I bought a separate, bulkhead, tank fitting, which is designed to be used with 55-gallon, rain drums. I'm using it, instead of the push-in, vent plug, that comes with this kit. The bulkhead, tank fitting, can be bought, here, on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08QC4SLCS?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Now that it's installed, it looks as if it should work quite well. However, installing the bulkhead, was a bit of a pain. The part was a little too big to fit through the gas can, spout hole. I had to grind down some of the edges, with a Dremel tool, and force it through the hole, with a hammer. But, in the end, it should work quite well. I'm giving this product four stars because it offers a nice, flexible, spout, for my poorly-designed gas can. I can't give it five, due to all of the different modifications, and extra parts, that were needed, in order to get it to work.

I found the black cap to fit better. Both seemed to fit the threads acceptably
I purchased this to salvage my despised 2 gal. Blitz "water can" from the big-brother idiocy of the CARB and EPA. It works well. A couple things: First, the instructions indicate that the yellow cap is intended for a Blitz can. I found the black cap to fit better. Both seemed to fit the threads acceptably, however the yellow cap bottomed out (just barely) on the top of the can and left the top sealing surface about 1/16" short of the can neck. This would potentially result in a leak due to being unable to sufficiently tighten the cap to compress the seal. Check this very carefully on your installation. The spout flange and seal looks reasonably durable but I have yet to have any experience with it in use. Second, the instructions for installation of the vent indicate the can should be dry and empty before installation. I would highly recommend that you fill your can with water before installing the vent. Any drill can create a spark from the armature and you do not know what the vapor content of your water can is at any point. It is not that difficult to verify there is no plastic debris in your can once it is dry, and anyway your new spout has a screen in it. BTW, if you need a longer spout, buy two of these. They can be threaded together to make a double length spout. I am generally not a "Liker" or "Poster" but all in all a pretty satisfying purchase in my book.

Another good quality product
You get what you pay for. Ever hear that saying? Well, I believe this to be true. Although these are not cheap, they are a much better alternative to another new gas/ kerosene can. I mean really, how many times has your gas can gone bad? The industry knows this and keeps messing with us. It's always the cap or vent or the funnel that goes bad or even some new stupid safety feature. A couple of years ago I purchased some other brand and there were a lot of funnels and caps and vents ( Everything was yellow) for a pretty cheap price. Well, they were S_ _T! Poor quality and they leaked! Tip, Although this does not come with a sealing cap, (You can purchase them as well) I never put the funnel inside the can. That may lessen lifespan. EZ-Pour. I like it, free flowing and unrestricted like the old days. Plus the reduced tip is excellent for a more controlled flow and the tip screws on rather than snaps on. Very well thought out.

Great upgrade for modern fuel cans and spouts!
Love it! I'd just purchased a new 5 gallon container for filling a tractor. The can holds fuel. The spout spews fuel. The words I used when trying to make that "safe" spout have likely paved my path for an eternity in the underworld. A few Youtube videos later and I ordered this spout. Perhaps there is still a chance for me to pass through heavenly gates after all. The spout feels sufficient. There are two caps for the spout for storage. There are two different collars provided to fit either a fine or coarse thread can. There is also a tie for securing the cap for the spout. I drilled a hole in my can as per the instructions. (Not mentioned in the instructions and something I got from a video was to avoid a seam for drilling my hold. Admittedly, I used a 31/64" bit rather than the 1/2" bit advised in the instructions. One of the videos had suggested gradually increasing bit size to avoid over drilling in soft plastic. On my can at the location I chose, the handle, I could've used the 1/2" bit as the plastic was thick enough and quite stiff there. I used a rubber mallet to pound the relief valve in as I didn't have the hand strength to finish pushing it in. Admittedly, I did have some diesel fuel in the can when I drilled it. Bad idea as some particles may fall in from the drilling. Then I filled my tractor and was pleased as punch! No longer do I have to fear government over reach in the world of fuel can design now that I have these kits. I logged in to this site to write how happy I am and buy another kit for another can. No hesitation on this purchase. Reduce your swearing and fuel spillage and buy one of these to replace the awful spouts sold in the stores.

Works for my van but wish it was longer.
Purchased to replace the annoying and difficult fillers on standard gas cans. The gas fill port on my van is below a bulge in the sidewall so filling from the cans is a real pain in the a__ in general. This works much better, but it's still not long enough to make it simple and easy to fully empty the can. EZ-Pour does make a double length filler but the tube diameter is to large for my van fill port. Wish they made a long version with the narrow diameter.
