BARKER32453 VIP 3000 Power Jack - 18" Stroke, Black

Received this power jack and immediately installed it myself. Had to solder a wire connector to the positive wire lead but that too was easy enough to accomplish as long as you have the knowledge to perform this. Once mounted I tested the light and power movement which was just fine. My only complaint is that there is a built in level on top but the instruction manual doesn't state how to use or adjust it. I searched the internet and found that once you level your travel trailer by using a manual level then you adjust the built-in jack level to align the bubble by turning the 3 screws. It worked just fine, just wish the manual could have said something about it.

I reviewed a lot of power jacks before purchasing this one. It was more expensive, but I wanted a quality jack. This is the only power jack where purchasers swore by the jack and said it would be the last one you would have to buy. Mine works great and raises and lowers my RV quickly.

This jack is well built and installs very easily. It has more than enough power to raise the front of the trailer up even when still hooked to my truck (I have to do this to hook up the torsion/sway bars). We just used it on an extended trip and it worked flawlessly. I did buy a separate cover to keep it protected from the sun. This unit is a bit noisy when operating, which isn't a problem most of the time, but if you leave the campground early in the morning you swear it's going to wake everyone up.

All the reviews said it was built heavy and I agree. The plus side for me is the gear box is sealed from water. My old unit had a plastic cover but the gear box was not sealed. When I opened it up because it was making noise the gear box was full of water and dirt! BAD DESIGN.

It works just great. Well made, strong. I was concerned that it was not fast enough but it is. Double check the amount of lift you require as they sell a longer model that may suit your needs better. The black finish is superb. Electronics are easy to access, clearly visible and weather proof. Manual crank is included. The light is not as bright but useful for that early morning getaway.

this thing is awesome. great quality and lifts pretty fast. I would not even consider a different brand after having this one.

I actually got the white one. Classy looking on my vintage airstream. Worked well in electric mode and easily cranked the trailer up in manual mode also.

Works fine. Came out of the box with chipped/peeling paint.
