Great for second year Aerospace Engineers
If you’ve had a couple of semesters of calculus and physics and want to appreciate Orville and Wilber’s genius or you want to work for Elon then study this!

Great info. Concise. Easy to digest at times. Entertaining. Full of knowledge. Hard to put down.
A bit outdated. That doesn't really matter as you can check for yourself. Anderson is the man.

GREAT RESOURCE
For being an old book, it still provides a lot of useful information. This book was a lot easier to read and understand than some of the newer books i've seen.

Combines all the fun parts of aerospace engineering!!
This is quite an awesome introductory aerospace engineering (AE) text (the 3rd edition)! Nevertheless, I have mixed feelings about it because this book literally takes the most exciting parts of AE while ignoring the most boring ones that are later covered in the upper-level coursework. So, I felt this book did not give an honest survey of what the major would actually be like (e.g. no structures/beam theory, system dynamics, virtual work..etc), leaving me feeling disillusioned after discovering that the upper level courses were almost nothing like this book. For that, it loses one star. Still, the book covers the glorified side of AE very well and made me love the "Intro to AE course" I took at Georgia Tech so many years ago. Very fun to read! My copy is entirely marked up!

Introduction to Flight
I am a student of Aerospace engineering in the University of Florida, and I used this book in an introductory course. Aside from a few sections entitled "Design Boxes" I found the book veered away form topics usually included in an introductory book. The author is so overly concerned with trying to prove his equations mathematically that he looses sight of the big picture. Personally, I have found model airplane books to be much more useful for an introduction to basic airplane design than this monstrosity.

Best Intro to Aero Book Ever
all of my rocket scientist friends (literally rocket scientists!) say this is the best, bar none, intro to Aero book on the planet.
