updated review: I initially liked these little knives. But that was before I attempted to use one in my kitchen environment.These are probably fine, if your butter is on a flat dish. But if you use a cup, only the tip can fit, which prevents the use of the butter scraping edges.Specifically: when I make herbed garlic butter to have on hand in the fridge, It’s kept in a cup with a lid. I pour the butter while it’s still liquid into the cup before chilling. This knife is useless for getting to that firm butter.Our regular butter is in a butter crock, always soft. It doesn’t even need a knife.

I love these! Work great for cold butter, chocolate, and soft cheese. I use a butter bell most of the year, but in the heat of high summer, or when it's empty, these are a life saver.

Came early ,got to use it on butter for my morning toast No waiting for the thaw and spread. Used it on creamed honey it spread a lot easier. NO more torn bread.
