HUE House - great addition
I've been slowly adding smart lighting (All Zigbee / Hue) to our house. Previously our wifi coverage wasn't great (added Wifi mesh recently) so by using Zigbee lights they mesh very well and we have great coverage for our 3,600 sq ft home. Most importantly this shows up in the Hue App and is easily controllable like any other lights. We had 6 lights that were LED Dimmable and we didn't want to replace them all with new Hue compatible lights. So we purchased this and installed it in the line. Our junction box was a mess with all sorts of different wires which made it a bit harder to figure out. But we got it there in the end. The device easily was found as a light bulb in the Hue app. The dimming range is nice and smooth.

So-so
The seller does not respond. There are many good dimmers in the same price range if you don't use a hue hub. Not recommended.

Defective design - tried three of them, all died at first powerup!
Ordered one, installed it per instructions, driving a load consisting of five 7-watt LED ceiling downlights. Upon powering up the breaker, lights came on for about a half-second, then went off. The device was invisible to the Hue (gen2) hub, and wouldn't flash the lights on factory reset. Dead as a doornail.Waited too long to return it, so bought another. Same result.Spoke several times with Sean Grant - who is listed as the co-founder of RGBGenie and is apparently also their only support person. He promised to test the unit in his lab and call me (never did), promised to send a replacement (never did). Nice guy, but gives the sense of someone in over his head.Returned the second unit and had it replaced by Amazon. This time, I wired the unit to the supply, but left the load disconnected. The unit powered up and was immediately discovered by the Hue hub. Success! So, turned the breaker off and added the load. Breaker on - the device blew up again, just as the others did. Lights flashed on for a second, then went off, and the Hub shows the device as "unreachable. This product has a fatal design flaw. Don't buy it.

Great Way to add Hue Functionality to Normal Lights
I decided to go all in on Hue lighting but there's a lot of missing devices in the Hue line up. I needed to control a few regular lights using the Hue system but they didn't have anything to support this. After a bit of research I found this device. I've purchased two of these and they both work great. Easy to install, easy to pair with Hue and also the device is quite small which is important when you need to put it in the light box with all the wiring.I'm planning on ordering more.

Good product
Excellent product I hardwired it into a bathroom ceiling light now Alexa can dim the light on command. It retains the dimmer setting when the power switch is turned off for 2 minutes I'll find out more as we use it

Works as promised. A little pricey but happy so far.
Easy install, connected right to Alexa and the dimmer works well. For the price I hope it lasts a long time.

Great solution for integrating nonstandard fixtures to Hue!
Does as described!I have a froofy designer multi-light chandelier in my dining room, which has weird chandelier-style bulbs under glass shades, and I wanted to integrate it into my Philips Hue system without spending hundreds of dollars (more) for bulbs. (Honestly, the Hue bulbs don't really look all that great when exposed anyway!)I was bummed after being unable to bind a Zigbee 3.0 dimmer switch to my setup, and I was having a hard time finding a solution; so I was happy to come across this little module, and excited to report that this little controller does the trick! It shows up just like a Hue White bulb, dims LED bulbs smoothly, and has very good instructions in the packaging. The controller is quite small and easily fits under the fixture's ceiling canopy. Finally, I haven't had any problems with reliability (2 months from purchase)! I recommend this 100%. I'll be checking out the other products from this vendor next!
