A customer asked me to build a large frame, because it was so large I was worried about keeping it together with just glue and pin nails. I couldn't justify an air nailer for one frame, so I thought I would give these a shot. They worked flawlessly in 1/2" thick poplar. I would not hesitate to buy them again. One tip I would give is to use light taps with a small hammer. If you try to hammer them in to hard/fast they may not drive straight and could mess things up.Worth every Penny!

I have been using miter barbs for a fair amount of time. These things are amazing. For every 4/5 you bend one. But they are sharp and once in, strong as balls. I have resorted to using them around the frame interior as well and they really add pressure to the board backer, art, and glass in a really positive way. Easy to use all around. I hammer them in with the blunt end of an old flat chisel and, tack hammer. Get some! You won't regret it. Cost is so much better and they don't walk as easily as the barbs. Over all, I can see many more uses and there's like 100 in a pack.

I ran out of short V nails so figured I'd give these a shot. I hand install my V nails into hand made picture frames. These appear to be packaged for machine installation and are somewhat difficult to separate by hand. I prefer the strip packaging over the loose packs because the sharp edges are more easily identifiable and aren't being dinged by surrounding V nails. These are very sharp and cut through the wood fibers easily with an easy tap with a mallet onto the installation tool. I've used them on both soft woods (fir, pine, hemlock) and hard wood (mahogany, walnut) with great success. The plastic box contains 4000 V nails that are wrapped in an oil paper to protect against rust. I doubt that I will run out of these, but will purchase again if I do. When the time comes, I will order the 3/8" and 1/2" FramePac V nails.

I had looked up ordering a custom vent cover for my furnace's return air duct. The cost was more than $300. So I decided to build my own. I found a vintage looking screen and tracked down some wood for the frame. I mocked up what would be a perfect cover. However, my wood framing turned out to be quite thin. I used the FramePac V nails in the corners like a frame maker. They worked seamlessly. And I look like a craftsman.

I got these nails and while the nails themselves were good, the plastic container was broken and the nails were all over the place inside the envelope they sent it in. While most of the strips were intact there were some strips just In pieces
