MBJ Womens Long Sleeve Handkerchief Hem Tunic Top - Made in USA

I've repurchased this swing tee multiple times. I always search for the Made By Johnny brand because it feels great, lasts well, and stays nice considering the number of times I wear it each spring and summer season. Have it in the white and the aqua. LOVE them. Pairs nice with a scarf, leggings, and great for cooler Office temps in the summer! The fluidity of it at the hem is attractive also.

It was true to size, soft material and I loved the color. I bought the royal blue in medium. The only thing is that after a few washings it started to pill all over and the color faded. I have something similar with short sleeves in a different brand (Lock of Love) that I wear a lot in the summer and I had no issues. So, I might try that in the long sleeves instead.

The color wasn’t right, I wanted the royal blue but it’s more of a sky blue. And the fabric in the arm pit is already pilling up and breaking after one wear.I have several variations of this shirt and different cuts, I know the fabric is thin and not the best quality but the cuts are cute and the fabric is soft. It’s stretchy so you can wear a size medium if you’re XL. After a while it does get pilly, but that’s after MONTHS. It’s happening ALREADY after one wear. Idk if it’s worth returning. How irritating. I wish they’d try harder with their fabrics. It’s a trend with their clothes to do this but I get them anyway because they’re cheap, fit well and are flattering for chubby bodies. *sigh*

I'm stuck between "Like" and "Love" so I'm choosing "Like" only because this isn't a $100 top but should not be expected to be. The fabric is actually rather nice for a $13 top. I think the tag said 90% jersey, 10% spandex (sorry, I don't have the top in front of me). I bought red so it's possible that different colors are in different fabrics. The washing instructions says "hand wash and lay flat to dry". That's not going to happen with a $13 top. I threw it in the washer and dryer and it came out just fine. Perhaps a tiny bit faded (have only washed once).The tag states this top is made in the USA. I very seriously doubt that. It just screams "China" or "Viet Nam".Unlike some reviews, this top fits exactly as expected. The sleeves are made to fit snugly so if you have beefy arms, the sleeves will probably be too tight.I bought this top so my brothers and I can all be dressed in red shirts (theirs are Polo shirts in red) for a family portrait. This top will do fine for that as the red color is so close to the Polo shirts.All in all, not a bad investment.

So comfy I could live in this! I definitely want other colors. I'm 5'8" tall and weigh 140 lbs and bought the medium gray. The color is a little lighter than the photo. Its super cute with a pair of black leggings and a pair of tall black riding boots. Very Pinterest looking and stylish. I immediately started getting compliments on this the first time I wore it. I think I slept in it too, lol.THE BEST PARTNot all of you have this problem, but I have this little pooch in my tummy that likes to appear after a big meal or when I'm a day or two off my diet. Well, this top hides that! Its very forgiving of my body imperfections. It also cover my bum in the back. The sleeves are nice and long and can be pulled down over my hands (which I like to do for sun protection).WASHINGI wash it in cold and tumble dry. So far so good. No shrinkage or pilling.THE MATERIALThe material feels super soft. Its very thin, stretchy and light weight. It is well stitched with no loose threads or missed sewing. I wear long sleeves for sun protection year round, even in the hottest weather (melanoma survivor), so I look for and love these thin long sleeves.

I'm pretty happy with this dress - or I guess it's more of a tunic. It's very short but I wanted to wear it with leggings or ponte pants anyway. I'm happy with the length of the sleeves - I'm 145lbs and about 5'7 but I always try to get larges for long sleeve shirts bc my shoulders are pretty broad and I prefer my sleeves to have some room.My problems with it: The material is a bit thinner than I expected and you HAVE to wear a t-shirt bra with this bc if there are any seams or lace on it, you will be able to see it through the dress. And it did smell a bit like factory floor but I hung it up to let it air out a while and sprayed it with some perfume and it improved considerably.Think I might get another one of these in black. I can see myself wearing this until it inevitably falls apart.EDIT: got a black one in XL - love this one. Again I prefer my clothes to be very loose, so the length of the dress and the sleeves was better for me than the large, even though I'll still wear both. Easy to dress up and haven't had the problem with being able to see my bra through it.

Flattering for the curvy figure, nice deep v-neck; love it so much, I bought it in two colours!
