Great game that had so much potential
I Jose first off I really enjoyed playing this game I do have a couple breaks though all with all the equipment you wind up getting and constantly picking up I don't know why you don't have the ability to go into your inventory and switch out you know backpack for switch out your stuff you got to look for a waypoint for that which is kind of ridiculous other than that very nice weapon system I like the leveling them up feature I'm getting better designs this game had so much potential some of the mechanics were a little wonky at times story was completely enjoyable if we were to ever make a part 2 definitely need to have like a replenishing sidequest system have a good guild thing like I hey I go as planned and paid a couple things need to be taken care of you know keeps repopulating so I can you beat the game you can still just keep going around playing and getting more research stuff to upgrade more stuff and just you know I'll have them fun

It's fun. Don't compare this to the original trilogy
Played this in 2021 and didn't encounter any bugsVery similar gameplay to Dragon Age InquisitionSure, the story isn't as great as the original trilogy, but I liked it enough to clock over 100 hoursThe combat is WAY more fun (you can jump!) and the NOMAD vehicle is actually drivableSome character models were ehhhh, but that's my only real complaint.Honestly, after consuming a lot of depressing, dystopian sci-fi (including the original trilogy), having a more lighthearted story with a hopeful ending was much needed, especially now

Play This On A Powerful Console, Thank Me Later.
I've played this game on the standard ps4 and the ps4 pro, and by many many leagues if the ps4 pro version is superior. If you liked one to three, give this game a fair shot. Don't let the reviews of people bashing this game dictate your judgment.

Bigger and fresh
The new era of mass effect. Supposed to be a fresh start. And it's better then the previous. Just for mass effect fans. Not Shepard fans

Fun game
Great game. While the hate on this game is totally justified, it’s still really fun to play and the devs did fix most of the issues that got everyone mad in the first place. However most of us are just mad now that they abandoned MEA for Anthem. But other than that, it’s a fun game and I recommend this game to any Mass Effect fan or fan of good science fiction. Just know there is no sequel or dlc.

A wait time to indicate retry? Really?
So, pretty much everything I expected for it given all the hype and the hate I've read about it. One thing that apparently no one mentioned (presumably trying to repress the experience after many, many, many times) is the forced wait time before you can indicate what course of action you wish to take after a character death. So far I haven't encountered any of the game breaking bugs, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

Not even passable.
What a pathetically underwhelming addition to the Mass Effect series. It's all style over substance and even then it's full of janky animations and absolutely horrific character models/facial performances. The gameplay is needlessly overcomplicated. I don't have any idea what 90% of the menus do because I just dump my points into shotguns and the one biotic skill that zips you to an enemy. It's a walk in the park with the only challenges being the bullet sponge "boss" fights and terrible glitches that can get you stuck in a floor requiring you to load an older save. There's probably a decent amount of side content besides the main quest, but unlike in the original trilogy, I have zero interest or motive to actually pursue those side quests as the shipmates you collect are dull and unlikable. Even the main character is unlikable, despite whichever conversation style you choose. Gone are the days of paragon/renegade options, rather than making actual decisions you just decide how kind or dry/uncaring your response is. And the only "meaningful" branching decisions are basically just choosing which faction you'd rather piss off and get some meaningless boost in research points or something as a trade off. Which, again, is an entirely frivolous aspect of the game. I haven't needed to research or craft or even buy/sell a single item the entire game, just occasionally pick up loot that's better than what you have and move on.Scanning is tedious. Running across huge levels is tedious. Interacting with remnant tech is tedious. I bought this game on sale for $10 and am still disappointed. Even on ps4 pro it looks arguably worse than Mass Effect 3, with muddy textures and popped in models. I play on a 4k tv and the cutscenes are obviously upscaled, which is another in a long series of disappointments. The only AAA titles that have been more of a disappointment to me in gaming history are No Man's Sky (at launch) and Cyberpunk 2077, which will hopefully make a NMS-level turnaround. I gave Andromeda several years to marinate before giving it a go and it still looks and plays like an early access game.Final verdict, even at $10 it's just not worth your time to play, it's not a core entry to the ME series and hopefully the upcoming ME entry won't have anything to do with it. I'd much rather play a remake or reboot of the Shep series than put up with uninspired new content.

Fun Gameplay, Lackluster Story
Rest assured, the glitches, janky character models and (mostly) creepy faces have been fixed with patches. The world building, exploration, and level design all make for a fun game. The biggest issue comes with the lack of Renegade/Paragon choices. This game does include moral choices after allot of missions, unfortunately outside of character loyalty missions these choices amount to little more than end of said mission dialogue with no impact on the rest of the game. From a gameplay standpoint, it’s a good time, especially if you’re hungry for more Mass Effect. Though the story leaves a lot to be desired. It’s a shame that the books for Andromeda add more to the universe that the base game could’ve used.

Good game
Not as good as previous Mass Effect, but still very enjoyable e provides many hours of gameplay.I don't know about the issues there were at lunch, I bought it in late 2020 played on a base PS4 and the experience was good, not perfect, but no big issue that made the adventure not playable or enjoyable. For the very low price you can get it today, for me it's a bargain.
