Would these brushes be effective, yet gentle enough for a 2 year old's nails?

These nail brushes are the best I have used, but I think they may be too harsh for a two-year old's fingers.

in 2021, did they fix the the bristles falling out?

I bought mine last September, and have had no issues with bristles falling out. Both of mine are still fine, and they get a lot of use.

Does this clean toenails?

Yes. Actually great for toenails too, because the finger nail cleaning bristles are a bit longer than other cheap ones and VERY sturdy...but if it were me , i would get a seperate one to clean toenails ;) 🖖🏻

What are the bristles made out of?

Plastic? Nylon...?.. they do the job and have held up for a couple of years btw... the brush part came away from the outer frame! I still use the brush part but its not as pretty as it was....
