Ten One Design Pogo Stylus for iPhone 4-Cactus

When I purchased my iPhone several months ago, I was desperate for a stylus to use when entering contact info, passwords, or anything requiring finesse on the keyboard. So... I ordered three different pens at the same time. Two of them arrived quickly, including this one; one took several weeks coming from Hong Kong (and that was my favorite).When I ordered this one, there was no mention of two clips, it came in hot pink, and it was about $6.35, so obviously the pricing and contents have changed since then and I don't know if the second clip would work for me.This clip did not fit my iPhone with the "double-cover" very well. I can get it on, but if I lay the phone on a flat surface it is at an angle. The stylus they provide is adequate but I much prefer the ones I got from Hong Kong. However, those pens are rounder and too "fat" for this clip. Maybe the two companies should join forces and then they would have one excellent product?That said... I do use this all the time. Since it clips to my phone (and doesn't pop off) and goes where the phone goes, I use it. The tip is a little squooshy and not as accurate as I would prefer. However, I do like it, but I would prefer to attach another pen. When at home, I always use the "Hong Kong" pen.

I For any of have read my reviews, I have only a few standards. 1. I will only rate those products I have purchased and used for a period of time 2 I am never influenced by other reviewers when writing my own reviews on any product. That being said, I want to talk about this little item. I purchased it at least 2 years or more ago and I could not use my iphone 4S without it. Despite the fact I am a retired concert pianist with dexterous fingers (thin, long fingers for a male), I could not write those bloody text messages on my iphone4 and in fact could only use my thumbs which I could not get accustomed to. I should add that because I am a Mac only user, I am locked into the iphone series because Apple will not permit files to be downloaded/uploaded or shared with a windows product and I will not spend what I feel is unreasonably unfair price to purchase windows (which my MacPro could easily run). I play the piano with 10 fingers and even the Neupert Harpsichord from Germany which has standard size harpsichord keys much narrow and shorter than the standard piano keys I never had any problems with. But these poorly engineered mobile phones----not just the Apple brand--all of these contraptions: I knew I needed some help. I found the Pogo to be great and I will NOT text any messages without it. However there is one significant drawback preventing the 5th star from this Reviewer. The bracket which holds the item to the phone will not stay in place unless you place a heavy duty Scotch brand clear shipping tape on the back of your iphone securing the holder to the phone and then trimming the tape carefully with an Exacto knife. I realise this may turn-off a number of perspective purchasers of this item but there is one other item I use 100% of the time for my iphone. It is a wonderful leather case made by Covertec® . It has a magnetic lock (which does not interfere with your phone) and the sides have these wonderful study material "bands" which securely "lock in" the Pogo Stylus. At least for me, the cover and Stylus are a pair I cannot do without. Because I have a rather newer Lexus (at least it still smells new :), my phone is paired and I only use my phone when I am in my car. I should mention at age 67, being semi retired, I still prefer my secure land-line phone up to my ear. Years ago, I was one of the first in my area to have those new analog mobile phones which took up half my trunk in my 87 Cadillac and featured that cute little antenna on the back of the window (always loved those cute things), but at least the bloody thing LOOKED like a phone and I could hold it to my ear. Okay, okay!-- so I am getting old---excuse me, I am a "Senior Citizen". But, even my fiancee' says she loves older men and she is a few decades younger than I. Let me return to the review by saying you need to seriously look at the Covertec® iphone cover which is available at Amazon as "Covertec Universal Premium leather case for Smartphone and PDA Phones". In fact my next stop is to review that item which will receive 5 gold stars in my humble but objective opinion. I trust you will seriously consider the contents of my review. Yet, I am the first to acknowledge that humans tend to be influenced by their environment, their culture, their faith, and their friends. BEFORE YOU READ MY INITIAL OUTBURST, MAY I SAY: I e-mailed the company and told them how I felt. To my surprise I received a very personal e-mail with a name, an apology and a strong argument for my having received a defective product. The responder asked me to verify my address so she could get a free replacement in the mail today. What can I say?!!! I may indeed have gotten the one defective one in their inventory ... and I miss it very much. It's a unique product and I am very pleased with this outcome. Having said that, prior to this I had posted:Disappointing product. One of the holders was too small for my iPhone 4 and broke (my bad) ... the other fit with pressure. I purchased mine in January and by the first of May the stylus holder itself had stretched somehow and would no longer keep the stylus clipped in. I kept losing it ... searching through my car/purse/home/garage floor. Finally today, the holder cracked. I'm talking about the side cradle for the stylus itself. Need more R&D!! I will try to find an alternative and superior product because it fils a need for me.

If you don't have a problem with using your fingers for the iphone, than don't buy this item. I only recommend it for people who have trouble typing or using the keyboard.

I looked and looked for a stylus for my Iphone 4, and thankfully I came upon this one, the Ten One Design Pogo Stylus. It works great, it is a lifesaver as I have long nails and typing on the new touch screen phones is next to impossible! This stylus attaches to the phone so it is right there all of the time. I think this product is a wonderful addition to the Iphone 4!
