Microline 435 RO Pre & Post Filters With Compatible Replacement Membrane Kit

Works fine as expected. Quality filters set.

This package consists of four items: a pre-filter, a reverse osmosis membrane, and two post-filters. While all of these installed easily into my Microline 435 reverse osmosis system, the system produced almost no water after installation. (The RO faucet would emit an ounce or less and then stop.) After a lot of fiddling and testing, I finally decided that the reverse osmosis membrane in this set--described as "compatible," so likely not made my Microline--was at fault. So I purchased a "Microline Clack S-1229RS TFC-50 Reverse Osmosis Membrane" "Brand: Microline" RO membrane elsewhere on Amazon. Once this was installed, the system worked fine.So the RO membrane I received in this set was either defective or not compatible. The pre and post filters seem fine.Worse than the money wasted was the time I spent checking various parts of the RO system to determine what the fault was.I might well purchase this vendor's pre and post filters again, but I'll order a true Microline RO membrane elsewhere.

I have a new baby, can't risk it, I asked my neighbor's help to install it.

Great buy for all the filters for reverse osmosis system, including the membrane.

Buyer beware. Correct filters and installed easily, however there is something wrong with the RO membrane filter. The indicator on my system has said the new RO filter is bad and needs to be changed since I installed it. The RO filter I removed to replace was still good, but this brand new RO filter is bad. I wondered what quality these filters would be since they were the cheapest and from a foreign country. My fault for purchasing the cheapest filter set from a questionable company. This Acqua Primo company doesn't even have their own website.

Hope the price goes down a bit.
