Fall Tree Wall Decal Monochromatic Tree Decal Baby Nursery Wall Decor 78"H X 87"W (White tree)

This was to be the main feature in my son's nursery, but it turned out awful. The trunk and branches were super wrinkled and they would not press out as we applied it to the wall. It made the trunk look like a beech or aspen I thought. I could have lived with the wrinkles though, since the vinyl 's so thin that from a distance, the wrinkles aren't sure noticeable.No, what made this an AWFUL purchase was the fact that the whole thing will not STICK. I am no novice to vinyl wall applications, so when it initially started peeling (within 5 minutes of getting it on the wall), I pulled out my blow dryer to help it adhere a little better. Didn't do a thing. I peeled back the left half of the branches and slapped mod podge on the back, then reapplied. This has stuck, but the mod podge makes it so slippery until it dries that I had to tack up the individual branches with masking tape until it dried so it would stay in place. Super time consuming and tedious. So for the right half of the branches, I peeled them off and then reapplied with spray adhesive. Kept them in place right off the bat much better than the mod podge, but now a week later, I can see it is peeling again. There is still residue from the spray adhesive on my wall, so it seems it's the vinyl itself that won't stick. I have been so burned out by all this that I haven't even touched the leaves. Didn't want to end up walking in the room one day and having it look like Autumn with all my carefully placed leaves on the ground...My only hope at this point is to either go thru the time consuming process of mod podging the rest to the wall, or tracing around the trunk and branches before peeling it all off and burning it, so that I can paint the tree on instead. Haven't decided which route sounds less heinous.

This tree is amazing. It's not too tall, which is actually really nice for when you are putting it up. It doesn't come with instructions but it's pretty straightforward, and you can refer back to the Amazon photo if you get stuck. I will say, it is a process to put it up. We don't have flat walls (as it recommends) so in order for it to NOT peel off, we had to slowly put each piece on the wall and really press the adhesive onto the wall inch by inch. While it was incredibly tedious, it was worth the trouble. The tree is up and it looks like it was painted onto the wall. No peeling or curling. So perfect for a nursery wall decal.Another word of advice: when you get the package; it is all rolled up. Pull all the sheets out and lay them flat overnight. This will make putting it on your wall much easier because the decal won't be trying to roll back onto itself anymore.

I have not yet put the tree up, but I am very disappointed so far. The picture on the front of the package is not at all similar to what was received, so there is no reference for how to place the tree. I have decal-ed two rooms before, once a tree, and once several different items, including a large growth chart. Both of the other companies provided a reference picture and even labeled the pieces. Sometimes I have had to alter the design to fit my space, but it was good to have a jumping off point. In this case, there are some vague, poorly-worded instructions included that didn't even apply to this decal. The instructions are based on using a decal that is entirely included in one sheet, but this has many pieces that must be puzzled together. I had to go back to the order page to see what the design looked like. Additionally, I was unsure which color I was going to receive since there was no indication what the default color was at the time of ordering (white). The vinyl itself is very thin with not that much adhesive on it. I am a bit concerned that the vinyl will not last as well as the others I have applied. The reason I am not giving 1 star at this point is that the shipping time was very quick and the item was well packed.

I purchased the decal to put on the wall of my babies nursery. For the price it was the best deal around. I absolutely love this decal! I only rated it 4 stars over 5 because figuring out where the branches go and cutting piece by piece was somewhat aggravating. I read previous reviews while buying this item and would definitely agree that this is a two person job. I would also suggest taping the pieces to the wall before actually sticking them just to make sure everything fits where its supposed to. All in all this was a great purchase!

It did take forever to arrive but this was relayed up front. The tree looks great and I had no issues with wrinkles as others had mentioned.We had to cut around the branches to apply properly and it would have been nice if it were a little more spacially arranged on the pages rather than to use the most amount space available to them.Overall it was very easy to apply and should last some time. The white goes well against a dark wall color. Set aside a good couple hours to apply if you plan to use all of the leaves!

I think the tree came out great for the price- it is a nice size and looks very lovely on the wall! It did come in 4 separate sheets- one with the trunk, two had branches, and one entire sheet of individual leaves. Yes- every leaf must be applied individually. This actually was great for "filling out" the tree to fit the space we wanted it to, so though it was time consuming, it was helpful. We also made a mistake lining up a branch, and were able to take it off and move it quickly into the correct place without any damage, despite the product saying it is removable and not reusable- it DID stick and has remained stuck even after reapplication. My advice is go slow, map everything out before you start sticking it down, and it will come out just fine :)
