Is it a deal breaker? idk *by I*** on June 15, 2023* First it said to measure then add 1 foot but it then ended up being one foot to long so maybe that's on me idk. I was able to route in a way to take up the extra foot of cable but it was pretty inconvenient. Second it turns good at lower speeds but once on plane it does seem to lock up sometimes and is a harder to turn. Don't know if that's normal with this setup as I'm coming from the older geared style of cable.Final thoughts I put this on a $1500 boat it's doing what it's meant to steer the outboard would I recommend ya I would for a cheap fix to a cheap boat. Now if your putting this one a 30k boat it might make it feel busted.
