Style:Short Hair | Size:Medium If you live with pets, you live with pet hair. FURminator professional-grade grooming solutions make the pet owner’s home happier by dramatically reducing loose hair from the undercoat. Our deshedding tools, grooming tools and hair solutions offer a grooming regimen catered to any dog or cat. The FURminator undercoat deshedding tool for dogs reduces loose hair from shedding up to 90 percent with regular use and helps keep the coat dirt- and debris-free. The tool is specially designed to reach through the topcoat to remove loose undercoat hair and undercoat without damaging the topcoat or cutting The skin (when used as directed). The ergonomic handle makes grooming easy, and the Fur ejector button releases hair with ease. The curved edge conforms to your pet’s natural build and shape for comfort. Use weekly on dogs with double coats. This tool is for small dogs with short hair. Brushing and combing are not the same as undercoat deshedding. FURminator undercoat deshedding tool removes significantly more loose hair than a standard comb. Undercoat deshedding removes most loose hair before your pet has a chance to shed it on the surfaces of your home! Use FURminator pet products for professional-quality, at-home grooming results as part of the FURminator Ultimate hair reduction system: brush daily to detangle and smooth fur; DeShed weekly to reduce shed hair; bathe monthly to clean and deodorize; and collect and discard loose hair as needed. FURminator offers a full line of tools, shampoos, conditioners and sprays to make sure you’re equipped for all steps of the grooming process.

Worth the price!
Amazing! I’ve been on the fence about buying this brush because I thought it was expensive compared to other dog brushes. It’s totally worth the price and I wish I’d bought it years ago! My dog is a shepherd mix and she sheds year round, but it is particularly bad in the spring when she sheds her winter coat. I’ve been struggling with brushing her for 20+ minutes daily and never getting all of the loose undercoat out. She would still have little tufts of white hair sticking out all over. After using the furminator one time for about 5 minutes, all of the loose tufts are gone! Her coat looks nice and shiny. I’m sure we will have to keep brushing as she continues to shed more of her winter coat, but I will do it happily with the furminator!

Highly recommended
Are usually wait at least a month before I post a review. However, I received this product today and used it on my husky and my mind is blown. I have never been able to properly groom my husky and do a good job, every product I have bought has fall short Except this one. I highly recommend buying it! It will change the way you groom your dog. My husky who hates grooming actually sat and let me groom him.

Great for a small dog that sheds like a big dog
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. When I got my puppy (a total mutt) I was happy that he had short hair and wouldn't be a shedder. Well it turns out he must have some lab in him because come spring, he started shedding that winter coat like big labs do.This one is designed for short hair dogs and does a great job of getting that undercoat brushed out. I use it a couple times a week now and expect that after shedding season I'll still use it once a week and use the Furminator Curry Comb daily to keep his coat in good shape. It's easy to use, although I sometimes think these would work better if they had more of horizontal tab handle than a vertical stick handle, but it works just fine, just can be a little awkward if you're brushing your dog on his opposite side. The hair release button works well, although it occasionally gets stuck, but it's not a huge deal to press it again to get it unstuck.

THE BEST TOOL FOR A DOG THAT SHEDS!!
I was at my wits end with running the sweeper several times a day, then using the Swiffer for any stranglers and finally steaming my floors! I invested in clothes brushes, rollers with sticky tape and a new Shark sweeper with all the attachments! I even broke down in tears and said this is just too much dog hair floating around within a few hours! I told my husband that we would have to get rid of our 6 month old puppy (that was supposed to be a non shedder!) It was kicking my butt and on top of it, I am a clean freak! As a last ditch effort I found this miracle FURminator!! After one swipe down her back I couldn’t believe the hair that the tool held! I was so excited to keep combing and combing and emptying the fur into a zip lock large bag! She actually stayed and didn’t run off! This just might be the answer to my prayers and this adorable dog, named Sadie, just may be getting a second chance! I have never been one to re-home a dog! Once they arrive at my home they are here for the long haul! So this is how bad the shedding was and how exhausted I was from trying to stay on top of it all!YOU HAVE TO HAVE THIS TOOL IF YOU HAVE A FUR BABY THAT SHEDS LIKE CRAZY! I bought the large one and she is only 17 pounds !

Cerberus may not like it, but I sure do!
My boxer/pit mix has been shedding ALL over the house lately...many a morning's coffee and scrambled eggs have been spoiled due to the tiny brindle hairs that magically appear right before I go to take a bite or sip. I vacuum daily, as well as dry dust, and this dog undoes all my work by 10 am with a just a few well-timed shakes.I have tried a few of the less expensive versions of this tool and was sadly disappointed in the amount of hair they would pull from his coat. I received the Furminator today, ripped it straight out of its package and went to work. Now, keep in mind, this is a dog who has to be bribed with peanut butter for a regular brushing......so it was no surprise I received warning nibbles on my arm when I started in with the deshedder to end all deshedders. However, entirely worth it when I saw guinea-pig-sized tufts of hair just flying off his back and into the great wide open. SO much hair came off from just a few long strokes that I had to put it in a Hobby Lobby bag to keep it from creating a Tasmanian devil in the backyard. If he would have sat still long enough for me to brush his undercarriage and back haunches, I'm sure that more than just his back fur would be glowing and gleaming now as well.Bottom line? WORTH every cent, hands down. Don't waste your time with the lesser versions.....you will be sorry, you will be back, and you will end up with this thing anyway.

First Brushing Gave me an Extra Dog!
Recently I got a new dog. And boy, his shedding was getting out of control! I bought some stuff from a brick & mortar store and it appeared to work. I noticed hair coming off as I bathed him so was happy (at the time) with it. I was running out and needed to get some more, so I opted for this FURminator conditioner & shampoo. I had just got a FURminator brush and was impressed with it, so figured why not. Since all 3 were purchased around the same time, I've reviewed all 3 of these products together and used it for all 3.THIS. STUFF. IS. AWESOME!As soon as I started rubbing/massaging (this sounds weird!) the shampoo in to his fur, I noticed hair just melting away from him and having hairy palms. The images are just an idea of what came loose during his bath and afterwards. During it, I threw some away before I opted to take a picture for this review and a review for the tubshroom that stopped it from going down my drain. The bath there was a bit more, didn't feel like going through my garbage to get the stuff I threw away. As for the after wards picture of using the FURminator brush; it's really hard to picture how much hair is there. And again, that's stuff that didn't end up blowing away from the wind outside. Not to mention I didn't get to fully brush him as he's still getting used to the new brush and from him spazzing out from it + the bath, think I may brush him a bit too hard at times. All said and done, I'm totally impressed with these products and will continue to purchase and recommend!

Best Brusg So Far...
I've now used 5 different style brushes on our long haired German Shepherd pup. This is the only brush that seems to get to the thich inner mat of her coat. She is groomed on a regular basis, never happy though, she clearly does not like the feel of the various brushes...... Well that changed with this one, not only did it get into and clear the thick under fur, but our pup lay back and didn't seem at all fussed about being groomed. I think we've found our brush!!The release for the waste fur is great too. The brush holds the fur until the button is pressed.... Means no fur on the floor for the pup to try and eat!!!

BEWARE: They may send used products!!!
The product itself is pretty good, but it seems someone sent us a used comb with scratch marks all over. It feels weird knowing other dogs may have used it. Not happy about this!!!!!

Good tool
The teeth are no longer protected by a removable cover on this item. They now retract .. overall takes getting used to. BUT does a great job.

Very good!
A friend recommended this and I can see why. Gets out so much loose fur! Both dogs seem to like it too - as if a massage
