Lessiters Hand Finished Swiss Assorted Chocolate Truffles - 1x77

These were bought as a gift but I was able to taste the goodies. I will say I prefer a firmer filling, some of these were a bit gooey for my tastes. They were good value and good quality. They made a great gift for a chocolate lover and he liked the variety.

Second time I have bought these for my mum. You may not get the glamour of the packaging, but what you do get is Quality truffle chocolates at a great price. Think “Wonky” chocolates with the marketing…. As good a product and 70+

For several years now, I've been buy these for myself and others as gifts or just a luxurious treat for when I've needed a pick-me-up after a difficult week or month, and they never disappoint.On the whole the flavours are generally rather good and strong enough to shine through without being overpowering. However; for my taste, I find a couple of the truffle flavours (Cappuccino and Rum) can be a little too subtle. But as there are 11 flavours of truffle and the price is more than reasonable, this compramise is more than acceptable. To be absolutely honest, I find the chocolate that they use to be more pleasant and less of a sickly/sugary taste than say the likes of that used by Thorntons or Lindt.

Recipient hasn't finished the big box yet (!), but has texted that each choc is yum, and the whole lot are very prettily presented.

The chocolates were tasty and some new flavours in the selection. I bought them as a special present for my husband but the packaging was very poor. What looked like just packaging around the box of chocolates, turned out to be the actual box for the chocolates and when it was opened, all the chocolates fell out. If the manufacturer made a decent looking box to present the chocolates in, I would buy more in the future. But as it is, it’s a very poor presentation for a box of expensive chocolates and it makes the whole thing look cheap and unappealing.
