This Product is Great! For 2 dollars US how can you complain? So I'm going to address a few of the concerns I read on here that had me "overly" worried.The Smell - If you think this smell is horrible, then you've never smelled brand new Sneakers. Seriously, go to footlocker, ask for a pair of new shoes and sniff the box... the smell is the same. It will go away. If you have an overly sensitive nose... stay away.Not standing up right - The grooves in this thing are DEEP a little over a 1/16th of an inch. Set it on a flat surface and you shouldn't have a problem. (I've been trying to get mine to fall for over an hour... Vertically and horizontally. I will admit, the most vertical position does reqire you to make sure it's stable first... but if you have even an iota of patience, this will not be a problem.Smart Cover not working - the Ipad has a magnet on 1 side... only one side. So if you close it the wrong way the "smart" feature will not work. Unfortunately Apple wanted to make sure you were smart enough to know that. So FYI the magnet is located on the same side as the volume control. As long as this side faces out, the "smart" feature will work.So in summary : - It smells like new shoes. If you want to know how bad, just go to a payless or another shoe store and smell a few boxes. If that smell doesn't bother you then BUY THIS!!! IT'S 2 DOLLARS!!! - It will stand up just fine on a flat surface. If your cover is damaged upon arrival, send it back, but it does work as advertised. - Make sure you are smart enough to use the smart feature.Lastly for 2 dollars this is the best leather device I have ever purchased! It's 2 Dollars! Did I mention it is 2 dollars, because it's 2 DOLLARS!!! Buy this now... stop reading... GO! and enjoy.

I was very pleasantly surprised after I received the Ctech 360 case for my iPad. For the price of less than ten dollars I expected something serviceable but not this good.I took a chance on this case, while the reviews were mostly positive some of the negative ones made me think if I should take a chance on this. First and foremost this is not real leather and the description states that it is for the iPad 2, that being said I found the quality of the synthetic leather to be excellent in look and feel. On some other reviews people complained of a chemical like smell when they opened the package. I did not experience this at all, I do not know if maybe they received one from a different batch or it was the packaging used on the case. I own the IPad 3 with retina display and I know that while this case says it's for the iPad 2 it fit my iPad 3 perfectly! My iPad snapped into the hard plastic back with minimal effort and felt very secure. All the apertures and buttons on my iPad 3 lined up perfectly with the corresponding case openings. The magnetic cover which puts the iPad in sleep mode worked perfectly on my case. It's important that if you use the iPad's sleep function that before you close the cover that the iPad's Home button is on your right hand side so the magnetic cover lines up with the iPad's magnetic latch. If that doesn't work then its possible that the magnet in the case was installed with the polarity reversed. The rotation function worked smoothly and the three slots on the cover to hold the iPad upright are deep and held well in both landscape and portrait mode. When closed the elastic on the case which you slip over the back held it tightly closed. This may be the only qualm I have,you have to be careful not to over stretch the elastic. A thick rubber or silicone band would be better. So there you have it, a handsome and functional case that comes in different colors and inexpensive. A good bang for your buck!

I wasn't sure if I wanted to try this due to some of the reviews, but I am so happy I did.Here are some of the negatives I read about. Smell, yes it had a slight smell when it first arrived (when I put it to my face) but that disappeared after 3 days. Rotation, have had no problems with it rotating, it works great. Ability to stand in slots. Two of the slots work well with it in landscape and two work well with it in portrait. I have no problem with the way it stands, in fact it would be awkward in the 3rd position of landscape anyway! Lining up the holes and slipping out. The holes line up perfectly if you place the IPAD in the right direction. Also, if you slide it into the top then "pop" it into the bottom there is no problem with it slipping out at all. Locking when the lid is closed. This is the only one where it is tricky, the IPAD must be set so that the button on the front is on the right hand side and the case slots are facing up (meaning the IPAD face is placed on the face of the cover that has the "slots") when closed. There is a sweet spot and I sometimes have to "move" it a little to get it to click which is why I gave it a 4 star rating instead of 5.I think there is a different product that is being sent out now than say before Aug of this year. If you notice the most recent reviews are very good and most of the negative ones come from ratings before Aug 2012. For me, it was worth the cheap price!
