ML301884 wired mouse: excellent performance, but longevity unknown
Mine, intended for usage with an Apple iMac, arrived in slightly different packaging to the one in the webpage, in that mine was not described anywhere on the packaging as 'laser', only 'optical' (there's a difference between the two sorts). However, the ML301884, once set up in the Mac's System Preferences > Mouse, seems to perform very well. I'd given up continually having to service the miniature scrollball on my Apple wired mouse. Actually, compared to the Apple mouse, the ML gives faster cursor pointing; with the Apple mouse, it was like moving through treacle by comparison. With the ML I now get positive right and left-clicking, albeit that it's audibly more noticeable than with the Apple device. My only reservation is over its medium and longterm 'click reliability', as all such mice usually depend on an internal pair of microswitches (or an especially-made dual-microswitch), and the quality of the microswitches is paramount in the lifespan of the mouse - after a good many months of usage the microswitches can 'age' and have undue bounce, which the built-in electronics often can't then cope with. So the mouse then starts badly selecting things. I had a Logitech B110 wired mouse (admittedly costing about half the price of the ML), for instance, that started off just fine but after about 18 months of usage on the Mac became useless in just that way, and I had to then go back to the Mac mouse. I can only hope that the microswitch(es) in this ML301884 last a lot longer than was the case in the Logitech mouse. In my view, it's down to whether the manufacturer choses to use good-quality, high-duty components within the mousethat counts. Right now, I'd like to give the ML301884 5 stars but since its longevity's an unknown, I'm giving it 4 instead. Incidentally, some users of Apple computers claim that although third-party wired mice of this type function without any issues on Mavericks and Yosemite machines, there appears to be an incompatibility when especially using Sierra. There are rumours that, with Sierra, Apple re-wrote the USB mouse driver. Since I myself do not use Sierra, I can't confirm whether this is true or not. Don't let me put you off purchasing, though; I'm running on Mavericks and my ML is working just fine on that. Thus far, I'm very pleased with it.Postscript, mid-June 2017, 2 months after initial purchase: The mouse has been working so impressively well that I've now bought a second one, just to keep as a spare, in case the internal switch-contacts do wear out in time. I've since used this mouse on macOS Sierra without any issues, BTW. My only remaining niggle is that the mouse-lead is quite a bit longer than I need. It would have been great if the mouse had been made so that you could remove the top part of it and shorten the lead.

As above first reviewer said, instructions are in French, image captions are in English. Product does not have built in battery, mouse has a battery compartment for X2 rechargeable AAA batteries (included) with charging time of 8 hours and needs the dock in the usb port to work, so not ideal for a laptop or someone who doesn't sleep. Comes with a mini installation cd for compatability with certain window versions.Good ergonomic and environment friendly mouse, I liked the automatic power switch off when not in use and its own recharging dock, I've run down a good number of batteries in the past. I did get drawn into the "built in battery" which is misleading, I'd much prefer a development of mobile phone/toothbrush built in type batteries if manufacturers decide to take it on. The seller of this mouse strangely sent me a two pin plug adapter, not required as it doesn't come with one. The main drawback, I wouldn't recommend for gaming, it has a surprisingly loud click.

Better than Apple mouse
Brilliant - no frustrating drop out of bluetooth connection to iMac even when new batteries were in the Apple mouse (obviously because it is USB connection), really responsive and accurate movement - no more rolling off the mouse mat the move the cursor across the screen, a lot cheaper than Apple mouse replacement. Really impressed.

Good Apple-style replacement!
Very happy with this product. I lost a long impatient battle against wireless trackpads and keyboards that Apple "recommended." It would keep connecting to my flatmates iMac but not mine, and this was on a regular basis. So, out of frustration I gave in and returned to the reliable wireless. Still wanted something clean and apple-like, simple and elegant (and of course.. WHITE) and found this online. not many reviews, but enough to convince me.All in all, works on iMac, easy to set up, does the job. Very satisfied, exactly what I wanted.

Excellent mouse
The mouse is fully compatible with Mac and it works very well. It does its job. It is a bit smaller than the Mac original mouse, and that, in the beginning, could be slightly an issue, but once you get used to that you cannot see and feel the difference. It also looks very nice with its glossy finish. I like it and I recommend it if you do not want to spend too much money for a mouse.

It’s wired! No batteries, no loss of Bluetooth 👍
Needed a new mouse for my iMac. I was fed up looking connection with BT and batteries draining so went back to the tried and tested wired mouse. Brilliant!

Very Good with a small "...but..."!
Very pleased with this so far. Nicely made, ergonomic, easy to install and works well. Instructions in French are not a problem as they are not really necessary since it's pretty much plug and play. The down side is that it only charges when computer is on so in sleep mode it isn't charging and the lead is permanently wired. A separate charging input would be a big advantage.

Hair trigger
Well made mouse which was delivered quickly. For me however, the buttons are just too sensitive and are activated simply by the weight of a resting finger. For some this may be an advantage but I am forever clicking on link I don't wish to select.
