This fuel tank I bought for my FS85 Stihl Weed Whip does not leak, I bought another fuel thank for my FS85 Stihl weed whip a couple weeks ago and it was past my return date so I will have to accept that loss, it leaked as soon as I put it on the whip. Again, this OEM fuel tank does not leak and is worth buying.

I t was a good price and fit as good as the one that was on my fs85 stihl weed wacker.

Fit the trimmer fine. The fuel cap seemed a bit funny (did not really tighten all the way down) but the old cap fit. No more leaking from the cracked tank.

The gas cap tightened, still leaks. There is no o ring inside the cap to seal. Buyer beware.

The gas cap does not thread on smoothly, the gas lines have a hard stiff plastic feel and the rubber grommets that are supposed to seal the lines into the tank are loose and leak gas when a full tank is tipped to the left. As they say, you get what you pay for, and this is a very inexpensive tank to the Sthil tank.

Bought this to replace the second stihl brand has tank. Fit was perfect. This was also half the price of a still brand tank.

Liked that the gas cap, fuel lines and grommets came installed. Great value. Although it didn't arrive on time as I was told. Need to work on their shipping punctuation.

The cap does no seal the gas leaks out. Ok so Amazon took care of me with this problem but i had to investigate some time into it and what i found is the finish on spout is not smooth the plastic is not trimmed flush with top. There is a lip that needs to be trimmed flat and then the cap will seal. In the pictures you can kinda see and then an after photo
