very nice set with a heavy weight will last a lifetime!
This set was about $15.00 less that the other sets I looked at. I got it in the mail and I love it. I bought it for a gift so did not take it apart. It is a heavy set, of a good weight, thick and well balanced. They are a good normal size, not like some brands that are smaller to save money. They are a chrome type shiney finish. The quality is high with all the pieces fitting well together with no burs. This set is smooth so it will not pick up leftover food in crevices. I think this set would be good for everyday, or even for special occasions. It is a good basic pattern that would match any style of tableware. I was impressed on the price for the quality of this product. The silverware holder is a nice addition to the kitchen also, It is a chrome finish. It looks modern, and is well made.

Quality above what was expected; way more durable than the (more expensive) cheap ones I picked up @ Walmart
Let's be honest, here, these are really inexpensive. If you're expecting it to rival a similar set that costs around $150, you're going to be disappointed... but not very disappointed. As an owner of a much more expensive set, and a slightly more expensive set that I purchased at Walmart, the primary difference is in the flexibility. These can be bent by hand, however, they land in between the extremely expensive Dansk set, of which I can use the spoons to scoop ice cream without bending them, and the slightly more expensive Walmart set which I wouldn't dream of attempting to scoop ice cream with. They're surprisingly durable. I had to use a razor blade to cut the *several* zip-ties that were used to hold everything in the box and wasn't terribly careful, but the sharp blade left no scratch. And they came with a *perfect* holder for the silverware if you don't have one in your drawer. The only thing I ding them for is the way it was packaged. This is far from "Frustration-Free" packaging. It's tied with like 15 thick zip ties and tied down so tightly that it's almost impossible to slice them with a razor blade (I couldn't find my clippers; that would have worked better). Good luck if you're lacking a blade that's very sharp ... it took me a solid 10 minutes to free the silverware from the packaging. So, the short version: Very cheap price-wise, the finish is as durable as my Dansk set and much less flimsy than the very obviously cheap-looking garbage set I picked up from Walmart. Short of looking for a brand label, it's impossible to tell this isn't a $100 or more set of silverware.

Good, but LARGE
It's a nice set. Like other reviewers, I find the larger sized spoons and forks to be a tad big.

I was so surprised at how really beautiful and expensive it looked
When I opened the box, I was so surprised at how really beautiful and expensive it looked. This was a gift for my bachelor son and he loved the looks of it. The flatware is not cheap looking or cheap to feel it. It has some weight to it. Oh, and the caddy was impressively expensive looking and it FIT RIGHT INSIDE THE DRAWER.

Decent
I really like the wire basket that comes with the flatware. Nothing g really wrong with any of it, just not at all heavy like the description says or other reviews I read. Overall, good for the price.

Good price, good quality
I've had cheap utensils in the past start to give a bad taste/smell from the finish coming off, but I haven't had any problem with these. Good size, neutral design (I can't eat with utensils that are too stylized, very picky about the weight and the ratio of width to height).

Knife problem
We seem to be having a problem with only the knives from this set.......they seem to spot to the point of looking like rust after running them through the dishwasher? Will be looking into a possible return. All of the other utensils in this set are fine after dishwashing.... Just the knives are a problem!

Disappointing
The quality & weight are not what I expected. The flatware is thinner than it looks in the image & feels cheap. I guess you get what you pay for.
