I don't like reading manuals or lengthy online publications, I found the system fairly easy to figure out. Once I downloaded some camera recordings I noticed the unit places a video viewing program with the transferred files, this made it easy to play the files and take snaps from the video. If you plan to save a large recording time frame you'll need to plug in an external hard drive to copy the files over, because the files are very large; they also take a long time to transfer. I was happy with the resolution for "better than HD" quality, but don't expect to zoom in on blades of grass (or license plates from afar), you'll get blur if trying to zoom in from across the street. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars This product has no Customer service address or phone number ... *by A***C on Reviewed in the United States on October 31, 2015* This product has no Customer service address or phone number and its pain in the neck to access online. it been 3 Plus months and still i can't set up to access on line. The user's manual is a complete JOKE, please stay away and spend your money in somewhere, where you can get some support. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Equipment Very Good/Install/User Interface/App & Support very much Lacking *by L***A on Reviewed in the United States on April 30, 2015* Cameras: very nice, solid quality, excellent image & very responsive. NVR: was told by my installer (yes, I had the system professionally installed, because despite as advertized - it really isnt that simple for a even a skilled novice to install) anyway my installer had a great deal of was impressed with the NVR & cameras - however, suprised the provided cables would have to be cut & fitted to work. He provided cables already prepped at no add'l charge. The only other stumbling block was the user interface - he said he can generally bring the system up on his cel phone, making the re-aiming of cameras very simple - this was not the case here & we had to haul the laptop out in the rain instead. Meanwhile, I excitedly downloaded the Guarding Expert App. My excitement was short lived when it became clear that the instructions provided werent working. We got no connection, connection failed & no plugin detected. It is an Android phone - but neither the App or the SimplyMonitored site offered any guidance on troubleshooting or which plugin to get. I persevered. There were no QR codes on my cameras or pkg to scan to simply matters. So no App function. I was able to log in to the NVR/cameras via IP on WiFi or Ethernet WHEN at home. But not remotely. The cameras & NVR worked very well, but my inability to use an App or log in away from home as advertised bothered me. I watched & followed the How To videos on their site - but my system didnt respond the way the video one did. With minimal to no help in FAQ, no troubleshooting guide - I tried Live Chat - I really like this feature - I was certain we would get this solved! Live Chat was down so I left a msg. I received a response suggesting I watch the How To videos... :( . I sent a more detailed msg. I received emailed responses (Live Chat was broken). I made the changes suggested in the email & guess what?!! Now I have absolutely No access to login, view my cameras or NVR!! Obviously, user error has a play in this - and as happy as I am with the product - I am not pleased with the limited support. Apparently we are in different timezones - making it worse. This was not a cheap system. I would caution potential buyers to beware: it is definately not an easy set-up, and the user interface isnt great - the App is not straight forward & support is not exactly terrific. This from a fairly tech savy, do it yoyrselfer! I am hopeful. They are trying to be helpful in their emails.
