Been round them all and back to catsan definitely the best
Ok I’ve been through pretty much every cat litter and had initially dismissed this as the cats kept walking it through the house and it seemed more work than it was worth but after trying other cat litters, wooden pellets that stink the house out if your cat pees, silica ones that work great if you’re a millionaire and can ifford it, I’ve come back to catsan. Yes those little white pieces are painful to walk on but I bought a large mat (not the tiny ones) and problem solved. If you’re sensible enough to shake the mat into the litter box when you’re walking past it won’t make its way round the house. It is one of the best for keeping the smell down, sometimes I don’t even realise the cats have been to the loo! The wooden pellets had a weird scent and made the house smell of CAT but with this that’s gone. Sticking to this from now on. Tesco have their own version although cheaper is dusty and far messier! If you have cats then get used to the fact there will be some mess left behind

Avoid at all costs!!
AVOID this product. Yes, it may be natural but what it doesn’t tell you is that the litter when used, it will transform into a thick disgusting cement like crust, while the underneath is a like a thick, pee-scented glue that takes quite a bit of effort to remove. It was disgusting. I don’t mind cleaning out the cat litter, but I seriously considered buying a new litter box, rather than scrape the vile mixture out. Back using the normal Catsan now. I’m sure the natural litter has its uses, but letting cats pee and poo in it, should not be one of them.

MY CATS 🐾 🐾 LOVE THEM ✅ REASONABLY PRICED ✅ MANAGES TO KEEP THE SMELL DOWN ✅ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ FROM ME
I have two outdoor cats and they are mostly inside on cold days. During the winter we need a lot of cat litter. After doing some research, I have decided this cat litter. The litter consists of natural quartz sand and chalk, which gives it its distinct white colour. According to the Catsan literature, thousands of micropores on the surface of the litter rapidly absorb moisture, a bit like tiny sponges, safely locking it in.You can scoop the poop out without taking a lot of litter with it. Due to the nature of the litter, the pop was not sealed completely leaking some odour. But it did a good job for the urine, very little odour leaked out. Once the litter gets wet with urine, it becomes slightly discoloured and crumbly, so dirty litter is easy to spot.Things I like -- Clean chalky white colour- Managed to keep the smell down- My cats love themThings I don’t like -- Cats tend to kick the litter out of the box- It doesn’t clump- It can be dusty when you pour the litter on the tray

Catsan is brilliant - however
I love catsan. It's clay based. It's the right texture. It soaks up wonderfully.I scoop once a day with this and change the entire litter once a week.It is cost effective.HOWEVER, I do sometimes feel clumping litter would be a better option - this is because I'd be able to ensure the second my kitten wees I'll be able to throw out the 'clump'. What happens with this litter is, the wee just gets soaked up (turning the litter in that area grey) and so this essentially means it stays there soaked up by the litter for days and days until I change the litter itself!Overall I'm sticking to this because kitten loves it. If you're into the clumping stuff Catsan does a clumping version of this too. A little more pricey, seems good but never tried it before.Hope this helps future buyers

Great product, but check it closely before your little poopers use it!
I absolutely love this cat litter, I usually mix it with a larger pellet clumping litter as I find the mixture works wonders for my 2 picky cats. Unlike some clumping litter this has never got stuck to the bottom of the litter tray, and when it absorbs liquid it turns into an almost rubber like consistency that holds together extremely well. Unfortunately the quality control seems a bit lax as in the pictures my last bag came with some unwanted guests, which we didn’t notice until we went to clean the litter tray I the morning. There were hundreds of small red beetles inside it which managed to get everywhere in my kitchen. Had to throw it all out and spend a few hours cleaning and bug hunting. I’ll still definitely buy this again in the future as it is such good product, but I’ll be very closely inspecting the litter before I use it and I’d suggest anyone who purchases it does the same.
