Bright display
My last HUD lasted about 5 yrs and then the digits started to loose segments. In 5 years the price has gone down, size increased, and more features. I was a little nervous about buying this one without any reviews, but I am pleasantly surprised by the quality. The voltage and temperature are boring. They are very stable once underway. Maybe I will find the fuel usage numbers more interesting, but have not tried yet.Pros- Bright display. I have not had to use the reflective screen.Cons- The instructions could be improved. The seller might consider creating a Youtube video. The speed was a little high, but could be adjusted after reading the manual. I wish the HUD had an option for gallons instead of liters.Overall I am very pleased and would recommend it to others.

Not too bad
I would give this 5 stars if not for a couple of issues.1) It said it was compatible for my 2018 Ford Focus. While it functions fine the latch to the ODB port won’t close back with this device plugged in. I’m going to have to figure that issue out.2) Switching the read out to MPH is a pain even with instructions. Granted, it came pre-set to MPH but when I went to calibrate the speed I accidentally change it back to KPH. After much trial and error I got it back.3) The screen that I was to stick to my windshield came scratched. Fortunately I discovered the trim tint on my windshield did the trick on its own. My tint is illegal AF so that probably makes it look even better with the tint being as dark as it is.The lag between my cars MPH and this device is barely noticeable. The HUD is 1 MPH more than my actual speedometer but I have no issue with that at all.

Misleading OBDII compliant?
Plugged the unit in, test drove and got voltage only... no other active data displayed.Product description states car must be OBDII compliant. I checked various sources online - my 2003 Ford Explorer *seems" to be OBDII compliant. Product listing states:"Before purchase, please open your car engine hood and check the sticker have writes OBDⅡCERTIFIED."Uhh, in English I'm supposed to find a sticker under the hood proclaiming my vehicle is OBD II Certified. Well, there's no sticker to be found under the hood, save radiator information. The only sticker on the driver's side door panel did not state anything about OBDII compliance. I found no sticker similar to what is illustrated in the instruction manual. Most online sources I checked state all USA manufactured vehicles switched to OBDII protocol as of 1996. Therefore, I figured I was safe.Only AFTER I purchased and installed the unit did I go back to the Amazon listing and click on the various pictures of the product, to discover one which claims vehicles must be 2004+ if manufactured in the USA. That chapped my hide. THIS information should be in the product description, not hidden away on a picture description we may not see.The only data I get is voltage. Nothing else useful. No speed data, no RPM, nothing. If I could figure out the Google translated instructions (So tired of this language barrier junk) I would reset the unit to see if that helps. They state "pull up or pull down the button".... it's a thumb wheel of sorts. Push or pull, rotate forward or backward... I'll figure it out.DisplayIt's bright - at night. After a few minutes of driving, the panel dims down. The supplied window "reflection film" will be required, as I see three of every segment. Without the film, daytime use is impractical, escpecially with Polarized lenses (display not visible). I've learned wearing polarized lens compatibility is an issue, even with OEM manufactured equipment. On cloudy days, I can see the display. If I'm in the shadow of an overpass, I can see the display. Sunny? Ya ain't gonna see the display. Is the display brighter with the film installed? Stay tuned. If I can get more data to display, I will update this review. Otherwise, I spent $45 to have a voltage meter.

Broke after two weeks
I used this for about two weeks. And then it stopped working. Not worth the money. At all. Cheap.

Turns on by itself and drains battery overnight
I bought this 5" head up display in April 2019. It was simple to install and worked flawlessly until a month ago. Normally, it turns off 30 seconds after the the ignition is turned off and remains off until the ignition is turned on. Recently, the display has been turning on by itself during the night and draining the battery. If not for this problem, I would give it 5 stars.

So far so good
Been running this for about a week or so now. Took some adjusting but it is pretty close. No issues at all. Works as it states it does.

Reflective film on the windshield is not necessary. I can read my speed fine without it and so i haven't bothered to put it on yet. The numbers i see are not as clear as the photos above show, though. I've driven on a sunny day, a rainy night, and a clear night so far and it works well in all situations. The non-slip mat has a very VERY light adhesive on both sides but it works (i take corners fast and the HUD hasn't slid once)The only con: the blue numbers on top are very hard to read during the day

Less than $5000
Okay...after install, which was not that difficult, I had and still continue to have problems with the functions (instructions are poor). It does give the speed however, it is 3 mpg faster than the car speedometer and I can not seem to get it to match. The other two displays are worthless to me. I would rather have NSEW . The dealer wanted $5000 to install a HUD in my Tahoe. This was the best choice!
