Simple Design, Pain Relief on Point
I don't write reviews for products often but this thing relieved my pain so I had to come talk about it just in case anyone reading the reviews is on the fence. I have more pillows than most people and my pillows are elegant. Four Pillow Cubes and Two Purple Pillows etc. But due to my age and my very soft mattress my spine has been misaligned in my sleep. no amount of expensive head pillows will cure lower back pain so I tried sleeping on the floor and even some other leg pillows and they would all work for a week or two than not workmonths passed then I did some research and really figured out that I need to have my leg elevated to help my lower back burning pain. I tried a couple of ways myself and by the time a few hours passed in my sleep, my setup wouldn't even work. So I found this pillow and its firmness, build quality and shape are so perfect for keeping my legs up. If you need more height you can do what I do on occasion and add a pillow to the landing of the pillow. for the price, this is a no-brainer, and it also doubles as a very nice pillow for extracurricular activities if you catch my drift.

Awesome Leg Support Pillow With Softer Layer on top.
This pillow is fantastic and with the soft layer of a memory or memory type foam on top is giving itSome Cush on tip to contour to your body, and it doesn’t slide around. It is wide enough that both of my legs can fit on it comfortably. I’ve taken the sleeping with it I like it so much. I used to be a side sleeper but I’m not anymore. The only thing that sucks about it is it stretchy polyester white cover that catches everything every hair every Dog hair every little brown piece of something it seems dirty within a day of using it, I did find a replacement cover in blue, a “Duvet cover” pillowcase in a nonStretchy. High thread cotton in a pretty blue. A lot easier to take on/ off . It solved all my troubles. It’s about $17 but it’s worth every penny and it grabs onto nothing. Trading out covers fixed the serious eyesore of looking like you had a really used dumpy medical piece of equipment on your bed. A satin high thread cotton pillowcase is a must investment if you’re going to use this pillow and have it out that can be found here on Amazon too.

Finally!
Between my mother and I, we have been hunting for the perfect leg elevation pillow for nearly 20 years. We've seen (and purchased) it all. Pillows that deflate, reducing elevation to no more than a few inches, pillows that slip and slide, pillows that aren't long enough, pillows that are too long, too short, too tall. We've purchased pillows from supply stores, bedding stores, we've bought the super expensive ones that doctors and PT offices have recommended. Every single one of them has fallen short of expectations and what was needed. This elevation pillow is excellent. As some have stated it is firm. Your legs do not sink into it, it does not deflate under the weight of your legs and there for you do get the full 8" of elevation. The cover is super soft, but not slick, so it does not slide on bedding and stays in place through the night. The Cover is removable and washable, which is very nice. The only suggestion I might make is for the manufacturers to offer an additional cover you could purchase made of the "cooling tech material", which might be a nice option for Texas summers!

Back support and relief
I use this for my clients when they lay down, which can be from 15 minutes to 3 hours. I've had and used this product for several months and the form and structure has remained despite the weight of the person. It's comfortable, easy to move / adjust to client's height and provides a very relaxing experience. A client was so pleased with her experience she order one for her home. She thought it would be great for her husbands back. I'm glad I can offer this level comfort to my clients. Highly recommend for anyone who has back issues or needs additional back support.

Elevates Relief to a New Level
Disclaimer: I'm not a healthcare professional. I suffer from edema in my calves, ankles, and feet. I've found this well-built, comfortable platform ideal for my needs. (I purchased an additional washable cover at the same time.) There is one thing I haven't figured out yet to my satisfaction. Do I place the unit under a top sheet and blanket and allow them to drape over my toes, or do I crank up the heat a bit more in my bedroom and use no sheet and blanket? I can't make up my mind. These are personal-preference issues, however, that have nothing to do with the performance of the product. After I had posted my initial review, I realized that I had omitted a fact that some potential purchasers might well find off-putting: this product has a strong, unpleasant odor, as any foam object does. The smell lingers even after the item has aired out for a long time. I can tolerate it, but I don't like it. Beware if you are sensitive to "rubbery" odors.

Proceed with caution
Item says it takes over 48 to return to its natural shape but it’s been inflated for 48 hours and it’s still has not inflated to size. Beware of purchasing. I’m not sure mo much longer it will take before it fluffs all the way up but it’s not ready to use immediately out of packaging or 48 hours later as product description describes.

It is kind of large
I just got mine so I am still trying it out. I used one to elevate my legs at a friends house and had the best nap of my life while trying it. I decided to get one for myself to see if I could recreate the comfort I had on her couch. It’s a bit different in a bed but it does help alleviate strain on my lower back and makes my legs feel a bit more comfortable. I will have to continue trying different configurations to get the right fit in my bed.
