Folding Ceiling Tv Mount Bracket LCD Led Great for Rvs Motor Homes (17-55" Screens)

I purchased this product to mount a 24" Dell 2408WFP monitor to ceiling (off of a beam) in garage in front of treadmill. This product exceed my expectations in every aspect:1. Quality, design & finish: Superb build quality, very sturdy - I bet it can hold up much larger and heavier displays when properly installed; folding design is phenomenal - very easy to fold up and the best part is that to bring it back down you just have to press it up and it folds down; every detail has been very well thought of.2. Ease of install: Clear and concise instructions, brilliant design that includes 1st flexible mount hole to secure the ceiling plate to ceiling with ease that makes finishing up the rest of the ceiling plate screws very easy (basically you put the first screw in and then hang the plate off of it, and then you can secure the plat with ease by screwing up the rest with precision and ease); even the VESA plate is detachable that makes mounting of the display very easy as it can be done after the ceiling plate has been secured to the ceiling independently. It took me hardly 20-min to install.3. Packaging, price, and shipping: Came in a very small package ~11.5"x5.5"x4"; pretty fair price considering good quality; from order to std delivery took 4-days.Bottom line - high quality product with great design and good price.

Not what I expected but this is not the sellers fault.I attempted to use this to mount under kitchen cabinets and was expecting this mount to lock into place vertically (while in use) similar to how it does while in the folded up close position but it does not do this. After returning this item I found that there may be a way to tighten one of the screws in the mount to achieve this but after trying to locate and perform that while I had the mount in my possession i found it impossible to locate.This would be a great ceiling and possible recreational vehicle mount but not a good solution for kitchen cabinet under mounting as it does not have the ability to lock into vertical viewing position and also does not have the ability to slide it further forward or reverse. Returning this item was painless so if your on the fence I would give it a try but don’t expect this to do what I have listed in my comments. I found it better to just use a traditional wall mount to solve my needs for what I was trying to achieve in a corner of my kitchen under cabinets.

Very versatile mount. You can adjust it so many ways to make it work for your project. My only concern is it doesn't appear like it will hold up over time and clipping it to stay folded up is really hard. It uses a screw and nut. Kind of annoying but at least when it's up you know it's up

I didn't think this through very well. "Hey I will hang the TV from the ceiling in our bonus room over the garage so my wife can do her exercise videos". This bracket did exactly what I was hoping for. This is an excellent product. It worked great to hang our 37" TV. It swivels almost 45 degrees left and right, which is awesome. I however realized that in order to provide our desired media inputs I was going to have to solve various puzzles: where to put the DVD player, Game System, and Cable Box in close proximity for cable lengths; how to route Cables for Power and inputs; and how to attach all this so we can still fold the TV up out of the way.Also, in order to provide enough room for this big TV to fold up I needed to come away from the wall more than I was imagining. So, in use, it hangs right above prime floor space for exercising. The product is great. My idea not so much.

I love it. After a few months of use, it has been a SPACE SAVER! We are a gamer couple living tiny, but didn't want to give up our gaming quality. It happily holds our 43" Samsung TV. We can continue to enjoy movies and games on a VERY generous size TV, and it's thanks to this product! It's well made and reliable. The swivel clip that holds up the TV is finicky at first, but adjusting the tension with the supplied he rench should do the job. It's really an ingenious design.

There is now way this will hold a 50” TV. Very flimsy. Two screws stripped with minor torque. Then tried to hang the TV from the installed bracket, almost impossible. Add insult to injury, they charge a re-stocking fee for this piece of junk. Do Not Buy From FreeShipMounts. Rip Off.

This was a little tricky in our bedroom in the camper. The TV mount for the bracket was right in front of the doors that slide to close. So we had to do a little maneuvering, but it works great, we just can't put the TV up on the ceiling like the mount or pic suggests due to spacial constraints with location. We will have to get some tv straps to hold it in place during transport.

We love hanging our tv from the ceiling in our room, being able to watch it at the end of the bed. We like that the kids can't knock it off my dresser....safe and secure and out of the way. My husband did need to buy extra bolts to fit our brand tv which was an easy fix just a trip to the hardware store. Also, it is harder to clip up and down after doing it so often but we mostly leave it down but wish it worked better for that reason (this is why I gave it three stars because it is to be able to click it into the locking mechenism but doesnt click any more and we don't know why).
