Good quality, great price, as good as or better than OEM, but first you have to grease them up!
Folks, first things first...1) Make sure zerks are snug and facing the front of the deck when installing. Don't overdo it otherwise you might strip or snap them off. 2) They do not come greased, so you need to fill them up. Each will take 20-30 full-size grease gun pumps until grease starts to purge out of the top of the spindle, just underneath the fly/belt pulley. 3) Use good grease...Red & Tacky or another commercial-grade grease. 4) Clean off the excess grease with a little brake cleaner to make installing them easier and keeps the grease off your tools. 5) They come threaded with locking bolts, so no washers or nuts needed. Just snug them down nice and tight. 6) If your deck is slightly warped or has sustained prior damage to the mounting areas, weld as needed, and use a few flat washers on the bolts between the top of the deck and spindle as shims to ensure the blades are even and if you can get a set of deck spindle repair rings too, they will keep the deck and mounting bolts from further cracking or damaging the deck. 7) 2-5 Pumps of grease every 25 hours works best for me. Enjoy.

Perfect fit BUT YOU MUST ADD GREASE
After purchasing from a different seller and being sent the wrong spindles, I decided to try these. The seller was outstanding on communication and making sure these were correct. Received them several days sooner than expected. They work great. It is an exact replacement. 2 things I want to point out: 1: they do NOT come with the blade nut. However, your original nut will fit. 2: these have grease fittings and I suspect they are dry upon arrival. I used 3 of the three ounce tubes of grease(mini grease gun) and I’m not 100% confident that was enough.I would definitely purchase future products from 8ten!

These fit the Cub Cadet SLT-1554
I went through two other spindles from amazon that stated they fit a SLT-1554 when they didn't. First set had too long a spindle, 2nd set didn't have the star spindle on the blade side. These are a direct fit and exactly like original equipment. Grease them and put a little anti seize on the bolt threads.

The new spindles were a breeze to install.
I liked the fact they came with slightly longer mounting bolts then the factory originals. It was an easy-off, easy-on replacement. They have only been used once so far, so I can comment on the sturdiness of them. The originals lasted 1 years, so if the replacements last that long, I will be pleased.

Great price
Replaced all 3 spindles on my 11 year old TORO 60" cut riding Mower. One spindle broke out of the mower deck, TORO price was $93.00per spindle. I took the deck to a local welding shop, they repaired the deck to like new. Ordered new spindles from Amazon, got 3 new spindles for the price of 1 from TORO. I see no difference in them. Spindles came with bolt holes already threaded, new bolts and washers. I did add nuts and lock washers on bolts for added protection. Highly recommend these spindles. If they last more than a couple of seasons I will be happy. Sure beats spending 2 to 3000 for new mower.

Great fitment with a little stump advice
Replaced all 3 spindles on my neighbor's cub lt1050 deck. Easy replacement. Spindle flanges were threaded, so they bolted right up. I did add 5/16 locknuts on the topside just for a little extra pc of mind. Spindles have grease fittings, i put them all towards the front for ease of greasing. Remember to grease them up a bit. Pretty happy with the spindles. Hopefully they will hold up. My neighbor had hit a stump in his yard prior to this. You could really tell by the grass cut in his yard. When i put the new spindles on, the center blade tips did not align with the left and right blades. This was because the stump had bent up the spibdle mounting location on the deck. To fix this you have to remove your spindle again, find the high side and get it back into its original position. I used a 3 lb maul and a pc of oak to straighten it out. Took 3 removals of the spindle and blade to keep checking blade alignment. Now the blade tips are aligned and his cut will be the way it should be. Hope this review helps some who may be frustrated with their grass cut. I also recommend some heavier duty blades than the original for these Cubs.

Great Spindle for Money
These are a good quality spindle they do require grease load and spindle nuts so be prepared to buy those as well why sell a new spindle without the nut makes no sense to me but what do i know after all are installed all are smooth as original from 20 years ago for 1/3 the price of the cub cadet spindles so time will tell

Worked great! Grease fitting was loose on one spindle.
The spindles came packaged nicely. All bearings seemed to be good, and installation was fairly straightforward. Have mowed over 2 acres about 4 times already, and they are still like new. Very pleased with this purchase.Note: they do NOT come with nuts to hold the blades on. Save the old ones.
