Great adhesion on glass build plates
I've previously been using glue sticks or hairspray for adhesion when printing on glass build plates. While both options work, they are messier, don't always provide consistent adhesion, and can leave an unwanted finish on the bottom of prints (requiring cleaning and/or sanding). The LAYERNEER bed weld is a fantastic product! Here's what I like about it:- The sponge applicator prevents too much product from coming out and makes it very easy to apply the product only where needed.- After applying and allowing the product to dry (dries by the time the bed is heated), the dried product is clear and leaves a smooth (nearly invisible) layer on top of the print bed.- Since the product dries smooth, there's no chance it will cause imperfections on the bottom of the prints (like chunky glue sticks often do).- The product is water soluable, so it's easy to clean off the build plate with hot water. While not required, a small dab of dish soap adds some lubrication and makes washing easier.- The cap securely twists onto the top of the bottle to protect the foam applicator and keep the product from drying out.- One layer is good for 5-10 prints. LAYERNEER states a wet sponge can be used to recharge the bed weld, but I haven't tried that yet.- While washing the build plate will always yield the best results, I'm able to reapply additional layers of bed weld (as needed) a few times before washing the build plate. Some tips for success:- Check out the image LAYERNEER included in the product description for a list of build plates this product works best with. There are a lot of low star reviews here where customers mention they are using build plates that are not on the suggested list (like textured build plates).- Apply the product when the bed is at room temperature.- Shake the bottle for about 5 seconds before applying. There is a ball inside of the bottle (like in a can of spray paint) that helps mix the product.- Press the sponge applicator straight down until it bottoms out on the build plate to allow the product to moisten the sponge applicator. And then lightly brush the sponge applicator acrosss the build plate to distribute the product where needed (wherever the parts will be placed).- Wait for the product to air dry before printing if not using a heated bed. If using a heated bed, the product will be dry by the time the bed reaches the target temperature.- After a print has completed, wait for the bed to cool down to room temperature for easier/cleaner removal.I've been 3D printing (mostly on glass build plates) since 2015. The LAYERNEER bed weld is the best product I've used so far. My only disappointment is that it took me this long to find a product that consistently works well. I'll definitely be purchasing LAYERNEER bed weld again in the future (use Subscribe & Save to save 15%).

Game-Changer for Perfect Prints!
The Bed Weld Original 3D Printer Adhesive Glue is an absolute lifesaver for 3D printing enthusiasts! I’ve struggled with first-layer adhesion for ages, but this product delivers exactly what it promises—solid, consistent adhesion across the entire print bed. It’s easy to apply, and a little goes a long way. I’ve used it on glass, PEI, and other surfaces, and it works flawlessly every time. Prints stick firmly during the job but release easily once the bed cools—no more struggling to remove prints or worrying about warping. If you’re tired of prints failing or edges lifting, give this adhesive a try. It’s become a must-have in my 3D printing toolkit!

Works very well and cleans up easily -- This is my 3D Printer Bed Adhesive of Choice!
I bought my first bottle over a year ago and I wasn't sure about this at first. I had tried hair spray and glue sticks and they worked marginally well, but I thought to give this a try. I was really surprised at the ease of application and cleanup. For the prints, it works as advertised for me, especially on large, slow prints that just stay on the bed, but literally fall off after cooling down. Thick or thin coat, it doesn't seem to matter. This is my new religion.I now have a new printer with a different PEI sheet. With my first print, I didn't use it because I wanted to see the capabilities. After the print, I spent 15 minutes slowly detaching a benchy from the plate. I immediately applied this adhesive and reprinted the model. At the end of print #2, it fell off the plate. I have repeated this multiple times and every time I forget to apply, I pay the price. The cleanup process is no different than with any other plate. I wet it down hot water with a gentle brush or paper towel and some dish soap, but by the time I got to the plate with the paper towel, the adhesive was gone.Since it lasted me over a year, cleans up easily, works great for my needs, AND costs ~ $1.50/month there is no reason for me to look elsewhere

Good stuff, sometimes doesn't release easily
Works really, really well. The only reason for the 4 stars is because it sometimes doesn't release after cooling. I've had 9 adhesion problems or warpage since using it. I prefer the nanopolymer, but use this on my larger (500x500) printers because of the ease of application, cost and how well it holds.

Amazing and Consistent Prints
This adhesive makes for easy and consistent 3d prints. I don't have to worry about adjusting my bed heights or constantly applying glue or tape. With VERY rare exceptions, first layers are consistent with no warping/lifting.When I do need/want to apply a new layer of this adhesive, it's a simple matter to clean the bed with a little water/alcohol and 1-2 wipes of a dust free cloth (no messy/sticky glue stick residue). One very thin layer of this works for several print jobs and one to two bottles last for a year of almost daily printing.Good Stuff. Highly recommended.
